Number one rating is well deserved. Great location, bunch of locals, decent food and adequate drinks selection. Only place in DR with Duvel, suggesting an adequate knowledge of drinks and beers. Sat outside, romantic view and great experience for the money. I actually came twice in 3 days

Been there many times and the food is always great!! price wise is very decent, considering that you will eat great! Love sitting outside for dinner having a look of the other restaurants and the huge plaza espana and the columbus house, simply unique!! Try the appetizer with eggplant, the torchon, the churrasco salad, the truffles risotto and the local... More

I have visited this restaurant several times to give them the chance and see if service have been improved in some way, but looks like I am a dreamer, service remains even worst, you have to beg waitors to serve you the orders, I will think seriously before going back. Food is average....

On my Second night in Santo Domingo I popped into Pat e Palo, by far the most popular and busy restaurant of all those overlooking Plaza Espana in the Colonial District. I had spied it on the previous evening while dining at the neighbouring restaurant. Pat e Palo certainly has more theatre and seems to be more "in" than its... More

I invited my entire family on our last night in DR to this restaurant. Our lamb was gamey and the temperature was not right. We had a large party 8 people. The staff was not very friendly, but competent. I expected better service after spending almost 500 dollars on dinner and wine. My husband can probably cook better than this... More

Off the top fabulous dining experience in old town Santo Domingo. You can almost see Christopher Columbus walking around the square. Food and service were both impecable. I can't say enough good about this experience. It is a must experience while here.

This restaurant is nestled within a few other well reviewed restaurants with a pleasant terrace and great view. The restaurant inside is very unique inside as well. My wife and I chose this place to celebrate our 20th anniversary. This is the #1 rated restaurant on TripAdvisor, so it had a lot of living up to do. They could stand... More

Location is great. Excellent for couples. They often have live music which we enjoyed very much. The restaurant itself is beautiful, but the food is not amazing and a bit pricey...
