Very nice and great atmosphere

We went to this restaurant twice, both times without a reservation. The food was very good and interesting, the fusion of Carib and Asian food is very well done. Also their cocktails are excellent. It was one of the best restaurants we visited in town, I would go back.

Beautiful setting in courtyard off Pietermaai Street, perfect for outside dining. Unfortunately, the food was average at best. For a starter, we had ordered the Indian fishcakes which turned out to be deep-fried, rather bland little patties (no fish could be detected or tasted) and came with a little good mango chutney. As an entree, we had the catch of... More

Excellent service and a lovely setting nestled in the traditionnal setting of old Willemstad. We shared three tapas to start and they were to die for. The Steak satai and fried indian cheese were very good. We then had the chilled melon soup and the peanut soup. Extremely rich and decadent! We will go back before we leave!

A small restaurant of local people, with a pleasant but simple enviroment. The menu is also reduced, but the food is exquisite. We ordered a glass of wine which had turned to vinegar. We complained and the owner immediatly took it back without problems. Our waiter was very kind and gentle, but the other employees were not very friendly.

In general good, taking into account there are not many indian alternatives in the island and If you are not too estrict and selective for indian tastes, you will be ok. I had Chicken Tikka Masala (it was not in menu, but waiter arranged it with the chef), taste was very good. I Combined with a dish of Bombay Gambas... More

We ate at Ginger last week and loved our food and the ambience. I ordered the tandoori chicken and my husband had fish with coconut rice. Delicious! We thought the vibe was super cool - laid back, comfortable and classy. The service was a bit slow (as we found to be true everywhere in Curacao), but everyone was friendly and... More

Ginger Asian Cuisine is an utterly terrific restaurant. For prices that are very reasonable for a restaurant of its caliber (~$18 to 28 for entrees) they serve a very appealing Asian-Caribbean fusion that was so delicious we came back the next day. Located a bit off Pietermaai in Willemstad, it's not necessarily something you'll bump into -- make an effort... More
