Delightful Meal in Hip, Informal Setting

Ginger has a creative menu that can be called Pan-Asian or Fusion. There is a tandoor oven for Indian dishes, and many delicious (and mysterious, until the waiter revealed the ingredients) sauces. We stumbled across this restaurant one day out exploring and taking photos of the old buildings. AMAZING! The food, the wine, the atmosphere and the attention to serves was great. Check them out!

The staff was so excited to see how much we enjoyed this exquisite food. When next we travel to this area of the world we will for sure indulge ourselves in the amazing blend, that is Indian cuisine fused with the delectable tastes of the Caribbean!

During our 6 nights in Curacao we ate in 5 different restaurants, all very enjoyable. The one we went to twice was Ginger. A busy Asian-Caribbean style open-air establishment easy walking distance from Punda waterfront. The first night my wife had the tandoori chicken served with a yoghurt-coriander dressing and jasmine rice. She said it was the most succulent chicken... More

Happened by chance on Ginger's, located in Pietermaai, an easy walk from Queen Emma bridge. Great space with outdoor seating. Chef is proud of tandoori traditional oven ... Ask to see it. The. Chicken that comes out is so succulent it's mouth watering. Saw the red snapper tandoori as well ... Wish I had ordered it.... Next time for sure.

Okay, wow. Maybe we happened to choose the best things on the menu by accident but this dinner was the best we had in Curacao. I started with the peanut soup- yes, it sounds strange but think of it like a thin, spicy satay with onion and sprouts. Fantastic. My wife had the chilled melon soup with smoked salmon and... More

I thought that this area was the best place to be on weekend nights. Ginger has a very nice back yard ambiance and on Friday and Saturday they have live music. A block away is Miles with live music and another bar (forgot its name) which also has live music. For something different you can walk around the corner to... More

Ginger was in a lovely setting with cozy outdoor seating and lighting. Had potato bhaji and it was delicious. Only complaint would be that I had emailed twice(one of those emails a week ahead of our visit) in an attempt to secure reservations prior to showing up at restaurant. I had received no email response from restaurant..when I showed up... More

When we ate here the first time the food was great and the service pretty ok. So we decided to go back, and was very dissapointed. Really bad service and several things that according to the menu should be in the dish was missing, and when we pointed this out the waitress had no idea what the food was suppose... More

Very nice place to have dinner, Modern and calm atphosmere. Is near the city In a typical house that has being remodel, the district is small but very nice to visit. Food is good and service is very fast and organize. 1 plate + 1 beer = 25 USD
