As well as the waiter was very friendly and the location is nice (directly at the beach) we didnt feel comfortable about this place from the first moment on, which started with the invasive way, the restaurant's owner forced us, promptly after having left the car, to visit his establishment. After we had a look in the very old and... More
It's a nice local place on the beach, the people are very friendly. The food is not very good but also not bad. The prices are cheap. You can sit very nice on the beach, we were there in night. But the beach (and under the tables) it was full of rats..... They have to solve that problem!
Have a swim and then a nice lunch with fresh fish or chicken or goat. Nice local restaurant on the beach of Marie Pompoen.
A tiny restaurant adjacent to the Breezes resort and across from the Dive Bus SCUBA shop. Simple food cold beers, all served overlooking a great little beach.... the fish is caught daily and cooked to order.. my wife and daughter loved the Conch chowder and I had whatever special fish of the day was (i don't remember the type of... The Food was very dry and didn't taste good at all! The table was surrounded by rats which seemed to enjoy the restaurant more than we did! Prices are way over the top! At home i would have left the restaurant immediatly - No-Frills is fine, but at least get the food right and keep the restaurant free of rats.... More

No frills is ok, but the basic work has to be done. By the way, many rats are running between your feet while sitting on your chair in the sand. I'm... More
The service wasn't up to standards. Our weightier did not understood English or Dutch, so he misunderstood our orders on several occasions. On top of all that we had to wait for 1.15 hour to get our food. And one of the orders was mixed up as well. The food was basic, and that is no crime, but then at... More
Local-centric. Fresh. Great prices. Beach side. Small menu. Loved it! Multiple visits.
