Very nice beach and good service

We went to this beach several times during our stay in Curacao. Since we stayed at Floris Suit Hotel the beach is free to use. The food and service is excellent as well.

I was there a number of times. They have 2 sets of menus, one for lunch and one for dinner (which is way more expensive). I have always been there for lunch and food is okay, nothing fancy but good. I would recommend to try out their Stoba (a local dish - meat stew) really good. The local servers need... More

While seated on a beach, the ocean an armlength away, you get a good choice of fine foods. The catch of the day tasted fabulous, just like the food on the regular menu. This combined with friendly staff, quick service and fair prices made this a well remembered experience. Do make reservations as it is a popular place!

Great beach, very family friendly, fun, informal, responsible prices, but the staff can be friendlier. I could not sit on a (not so new!) beach chair, because my swimming pants were still wet.

This used to be 'Hook's Hut' and it's now called 'Pirate Bay'. I was disappointed as the quality of the food has dropped, especially in light of the prices they ask. I love eating the local caribbean fish (hey we're right by the sea!) and there was only one of them on the menu, which was overcooked and bland. The... More

Overpriced and service took forever. Food is decent if you are drunk first; I would go next door to tomatoes before I would eat here again

I have found in my travels that the proverbial "hole in the wall" often serves the best food. True that here. Thr PB didn't look like much from the outside, but the local (Caribbean) food was outstanding and reasonably priced. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Get here for sunset and it's worth it. The food is nothing special and a little expensive. But go for the beach bar vibes and a couple of drinks. Lots of water excursions in the immediate area, too.

Right on the beach and the food here is reasonable priced for the what you get. We ate here several nights and each time we had a good dinner. Burgers are good, pasta was good, the fish was good. Service was great. Nice place!!

I would not go eat there ever again. We could barely see our food as we only had a little tea light on the table. My fish was laid on top of the soggy vegetables, which in turn made the fish wet and limp. Really nothing special about this place unless you're a fish and chips kinda person.
