What a place for quiet ,comfortable, full service swimming during the day and an affordable romantic sunset dinner afterwards! Fall in love all over again while having a well prepared dinner on the beach. Bring your appetite and take off your shoes as the most romantic tables are on the sand right near the water! Reservations are therefore a good... More

Extraordinary, casual beach-front dining. Get a table on the beach and eat with your feet stuck in the sand. Excellent carpaccio and jerk chicken. Good burgers. Cold beer and bar menu. Get out of the hotels and eat local.

We found ourselves coming back again and again, the beer was ice cold, the food was good at a fair price for a resort island, a beautiful setting in which you could eat, lounge, swin and snorkle all in one place.. The staff were nice as well. Our next visit to Curacao will include going back to Pirate Bay for... More

We ate here on our first night in town. The view was great, right on the water. The food was great, but, as we came to recognize at all island restaurants (except Plasa Bieu), service was friendly but slow! There was even a 15 min wait between asking for the check and receiving it.

I wanted to like this place more because the atmosphere is fantastic, it is close to the Hilton where we were staying, the service was fast (although not as friendly as other places, but I think those places have been so super friendly that we have high expectations now), and the banana daiquiris were yum, but the food was only... We found this place our first night here. It's within walking distance of the Hilton where we stayed, so we walked there several times during our week stay when we didn't want to go into downtown Willemstad to eat. Great prices for food, and each dish looks like a work of art!!

We decided to dine here based on the favorable reviews on this site. The reviews were right...dinner on the sand, great food, friendly staff and a beautiful sunset. A perfect restaurant for an island vacation.

Food was great and prices were good compared to similar places in Curacao. The tables were on the beach. We watched the sunset with our feet in the sand while eating our meals. There were a few mosquitoes. Fortunately, the staff brought repellant which solved the problem. Oddly, this is one of the few places we visited in Curacao that... More
