The food is some of my favorite and service is pretty great. It's nice to have a spot where you can get more Latin Caribbean dishes.

I currently live in Curacao, and walk by this restaurant fairly regularly (I wish I have done that again). I had a few friends that work on a cruise ship visiting and decided to stay in walking distance to their port. They lured us in with "first drink is free". I was with a group of five. It took about... More

Hello together, after two weeks of holiday on Curacao a friend and I can say that for us, Mr. Congas was the best restaurant in town. The food is just perfect and you will be definetely full! Sensational food, especially mar y tierra at moderate prices in a warm atmosphere. The whole team is so charming, polite and professional. When the owner starts to play the trumpet and you enjoy one of the delicious rums and cigars your evening will be perfect. The original cuban food is recommended, too. Don't pass bye because the location has no... More

We were bored with normal touristy seafood places. Pretty interesting and well done Cuban food for someone who was new to Cuban food. The "Encendio" was really on fire visually and in taste. Dessert wasn't great though. The Quatro Leches really disappointed. However the best part turned out to be the fireworks and drumming display on the Dec 30th night... More

We found this restaurant by accident while looking for local food for dinner. This was the best meal we had while in Curacao!!! The Patacon Gallego's was wonderful and we could have ordered more. We ordered the Cubano for our meal and it was the best Cuban sandwich I have ever had. The drinks were also amazing! I would definately... More

The food at Mr Congas is definitely spot on Cuban food. It was exactly what I was looking for. Very delicious! My only complaint is the slow service.

Looking forward to a good cuban meal outside. Arrived before 8:00 on a Wednesday night. Waited over 10 minutes for a menu, and 20 minutes to order. Ordered a cubano and my husband ordered a cuban pork sandwich. They were out of pork and bread. Wait staff was also terrible. Don't waste your time.
