Great good, excellent service

This may have been the best food we had in Curacao. Brazilian steakhouses are always a treat, and this one is done well. Being able to sit outside in the courtyard is a treat, and the food, right down to the sauces on the salad bar, was terrific. It's a bit off the beaten path, but well worth a... read more

$50 taxi fare and very disappointing!!! Staff was not friendly/nor attentive. We didn't even get a greeting of "Merry Christmas" on Christmas Day. Food is mediocre at best. Salad bar was gross. Tuna salad, chicken salad, artichokes and corn from the can...I think this place gets high ratings from the quantity of meat??? - because it certainly can't be from... More

we tried the salad bar special (50 ANG per person), which consists of soup, cold salads, cold fish dishes, and hot dishes (fish, curry, pork). The salad bar has enough variety, the only minor point is, there is not really a desert (some grapes in yogurt is all). The staff is very friendly and professional and the environment is nice.

After 3 years me and my family decided to have dinner at L' aldea. All we could think about was the great service and food we had 3 years ago. When we arrived we were seated by our waitress. She didn't seem very excited to be working that night.. none of the staff members seemed happy that day. The waitress... More

Accidentally ended up here since we first planned on going somewhere else. Excellent food and good service. I'll definitely add this one to my favorite restaurants on curaçao.

First, it's a long haul up to this restaurant. We were staying in Otrabanda and it was a good 20-30 minute drive to get there. Check with your hotel as the restaurant has a shuttle that will come pick you up and drop you off for free. We didn't know that and it cost us $50 each way to get... More

We ate at the Brazilian steakhouse. We sampled a ton of different types of meat (chicken, pork, beef, lamb). The service was attentive and the food was delicious. I was stuff by the time we left. There was a salad bar included in the meat sampling meal. The only suggestion I would have is to slow down the time when... More

This was our 4th visit to L'aldea. The service personnel's friendliness was lacking, as was the level of service. The once fabulous salad bar had fewer items, most of them not looking very fresh and showing sings of drying. The meat quality has gone downhill and the more expensive cuts like tenderloin, sirloin, etc are served sparingly, if at all.... More

Although it took some driving compared to other restaurants, L'aldea was every Kilometer worth it. Great decor, romantic, good service and great food. I definitely will visit L'aldea again in a near future.
