Great food, expensive beer

I had a tempura dish, a sushi roll dish and the fried cheese cake dessert and can't complain on any of them. Very delicious. The food is made with care and it takes some time to come out but not in a way that it was unpleasant. The Japanese beer served is great but excessively priced in my... read more

You will only find better panfried gyoso in Japan! Not a reheated convenience product but made from scratch. The sushi rolls were also very tasty, after a starter and 2 rolls i had to order one more and it was definately the best of the evening: Fresh cooked shrimps in a coconut and chillie majonaise on top of a roll... Service was really slow. Definitely on island time. Make sure you aren't in a hurry. The food was good it just took way too long to get one roll.

I made a reservation for a large party, and the hostess was straight honest and strongly suggested that we pre-ordered, at least, the appetizers. The japanese staff coming with us made the selection: Gyozas, Edamame, Edamame, Chicken Karaage, Neptuno Salad and Assorted Sashimi. They all were good and we waited no more than 10 minutes, including them bringing our drinks.... More

My maki roll fell apart. Meaning not wel rolled. Also, Sushi put on a porcelain plate instead of wood. Causing the sushi to stick to the plate. After mentioning this nothing happened, no excuse / no explanation.

Was there tonight with friends,7 of us,we waited well over a hour and half for the appetizer .a other long wait for the main course.it was so little, even the 9 year old was starving .i ask twice to speak to the manager, none at hand.we left, eat a bunch a home.it was really frustrating, very little food of ok quality. Go elsewhere.

Great locatin right in the center of Rif Fort. Service is amateurish, the food isn't that good. Then again why choose a "Japanese" restaurant in the Dutch Antilles? plenty of nice places near by.

Not really a tradition in Curacao, but sushi is also an option. At Ema-Tei in the Rift Fort it took a lot of time to get what we ordered, but the result was worth waiting for. The sashimi special, Ema-Tei roll, and a Tiger special roll were all very fresh and tasty. The terrace is a nice place to sit... More

Chose to eat on cushions or at a table... Regardless, an extensive menu with dishes beautifully served by very friendly staff in the old Riff Fort location by Willemstad harbour. Somewhat busy when the cruise ships are there......
