Great food

The food was really great. If you like sushi you will not get dissapointed. The restaurant was 1/3 occupied and I was not impressed by the staff.

I don't like to write bad reviews, but I do like saving other people's time and money from a place like this. There were 4 of us on an early Friday evening. When we arrived, they were not busy at all. 2 small tables inside were occupied and one outside was occupied. They told us we'd have to sit inside.... More

On a busy night, we were with a group of 5 and 2 of us got the large size plate of Korean beef (very nice taste) instead of the smaller bowl we ordered. We told that to the waiter, and we asked him if he is sure the food is not for another table because it is not what we... More

I would review the food, but unfortunately we never got that far. I came here on a Friday night with my husband and after waiting 20 minutes for a waiter to come over we had to flag one down. We told him we were ready to order and he said he would be right back. After waiting another 15 minutes... More

Judging by the crowds, I had to try this place before I left Curacao and I wasn't disappointed. Actually had the ramen soup and some appetizer and dessert. They offer a huge multi-person appetizer served in a wooden boat, which tables around me enjoyed. Service was good and the outdoor seating allows you to enjoy the impromptu music in the... More

If you plan to visit the Rif Fort, Ema-Tei is the restaurant in which you have to eat! By far the best Sushi Rolls I've ever tried! California Rolls are delicious.

While in port, we stopped by this place on the way back to the Adventure of the Seas. The restaurant was in a busy port area, but getting a table was easy. The daquiris were excellent. Sashimi and garlic chicken were sublime. If you find yourself in Curaco on a cruise, look into this place.

I'm a sushi lover and while walking around close to my hotel the evening the day I landed in Curacao I came across Ema Tei which was situated in a corner on Rif Fort. Being a sushi lover I walked right in looked at the menu and placed an order. The size of the shrimp shumai were small but had... More

Great little hole in the wall located at Ft. Rif. They have an excellent lunch special, several small portions of noodles and tempura shrimp with two maki rolls for just under $13. My wife had tuna maki, expensive but she says thumbs up! Recommend for lunch. Can't go wrong here.

If you are a Sushi-Lover like us and you are in Curaçao, you can't avoid going to Ema-Tei! Located at "Rif Fort" this great ambiance, excellent Sushi variety. Only minus was the service but we truly did understand. The place was simply packed! The ambiance and quality of the food compensated vastly for the waiting time.
