Ate here for lunch on the patio of Rif Fort. Location was great but the good was just average, kind of bland. While it was good, there are just better restaurants nearby.

Nice, quiet, friendly restaurant. Food was delicious. Sashimi was fresh and properly served. Other dishes excellent as well.

Since recently this is my restaurant of choice in Curacao when I want to eat sushi and sashimi. I think the quality of the food is probably the best on the island at this moment. Considering this is Curacao, the service of the staff is not bad. Big recommendation from my side.

I personally did not like their sushi. The rolls are extremely big and it did not taste good. The place is nice. I must admit but the sushi not so much.

My family and I decided to go there because of the good location, but we were a little fearful because of the trip advisor reviews.Instead of the mentioned slow service,we had a very nice waitress and the food was tasty and fresh. We even came back there two days later and everything was like the first day.I'd absolutely recommend it for a... The night started with drinks - My husband's small Individual bottle of San Pellegrino came with the bottle already opened and his glass of wine tasted like the bottle had been opened for months; both incidents a little freaky, more so the open bottle of San Pelle! The restaurant was out of avacodo, which eliminated 7 of the 17 rolls... More

Had dinner here mostly to listen to the live music. Way overpriced for mediocre sushi. There was nothing special about the food and the service was atrocious. Never did anything until asked... if your waiter even showed their face.

I went there for lunch and I can agree with all the others. Service was terrible. I ordered a box and the only decent thing in it was the sushi. Chicken was raw. French fries with Japanese? ? Stay far from this place. McDonald's is better than this place, and I dislike home of the big mac.

The food is consequently amazing. Fresh ingredients and the sushi chef prepares most meals right in front of your eyes! Ema-Tei is -the- only place on Curacao you can get some authentic japanese cuisine. I'm not talking about just sushi or tempura... they have everything! Steak, chicken and other sushi meals most places don't offer. And they skip on all... More

Recently in Curacao had a need for some wasabi, so went to Fort where several restaurants are set. Good atmosphere and variety of eateries; also, live music on the weekends in the center plaza, inside the fort. BUT Ema-Tei, not a place I would recommend. food is ok, but the service is non-existent; they come to you dragging their feet... More
