A restaurant with a lot of class

We went to this restaurant to celebrate a special day and only knowing that it is rank #1 in Curaçao! By the end of our meal, we totally understood why it has that rank. My dish (florida grouper with mango sause) was DIVINE!! The staff is very well trained and ready to help. The owner is also very... read more

My fiancé and I went there last night. It was out last dinner in Curaçao and I wish we had found this place sooner. The food was delicious, we had the beef carpaccio and the scallops appetizer, the garlic shrimp entree and crepes for dessert. Everything was amazing and the staff was very attentive and pleasant. Would definitely go back.

It is a family owned restaurant where father and sons work in a visible harmony. Very warm reception. We had scallops (XXL size) with a divine souce. Then a perfectly cooked Magret du canard and my wife got a fantastic lamb rack. To finish, the crepe suzette was great. On top, the owner and his sons were very present and... More

After reading other reviews on The Wine Cellar, I was not reluctant to dine there. True to the reviews, the restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived and did get busy by the time we left. The food was simply 5-star. Well prepared, beautifully presented and the tastes were amazing. The staff was attentive and friendly. This is a place to... More

We have regularly eaten at the best restaurants in NYC and Chicago. From Paris to Seoul, we have tried it all. The Wine Cellar is the perfect restaurant for couples. The ambiance, the FOOD, and the people are wonderful! We would come to Curacao again for the sole purpose of eating here again. We came here the second night of... More

These guys (Anton, Daniel and their other brother, working in the restaurant of their father) went above and beyond. They know their food and even better they know their wine. The food, mostly traditional French, was cooked to perfection. We read on tripadvisor about a wine pairing, so we asked about it (as it did not show on the menu).... More

We asked for the chef's menu with wine pairing. The owner used to be the chef for the Queen of the Netherlands, and we quickly understood why. All dishes were delicious, the wine was exceptional. Prices are quite moderate given the very high quality of the food. Best meal we had in a long time

Seven of us had pre-booked dinner at the Wine Cellar on Friday, 3rd July 2015. When we arrived the place looked almost deserted, I started to wonder if it was the right place. From the time we rung the bell and the waitress came to the door, we were warmly greeted and immediately shown to our table - from the... More

Some local friends told us this restaurant had an excellent menu with great food. When entering, the restaurant looked obsolete and there was not a nice atmosphere. The maître ‘d was very helpful and kind. We ordered carpaccio of beef tenderlion with mustard dressing and baked mushrooms stuffed with herbed cheese as starters and angus prime beef 'filet chateaubriand béarnaise'... More

We walked here from our house on our first night in Curacao. It was pretty early so the restaurant was empty. We felt incredibly under-dressed for the decor and the servers attire. Everyone spoke English (Which is very helpful when your Papamiento and Dutch are lacking) We had 2 of everything. Amuse bouche, appetizers, entrees and a single bottle of... More
