Lovely garden, excellent food

If you aren't going to dine on the beach, this garden setting is lovely. Fabulous boulibaisse and excellent turkey curry. Nice wine list. Another day, breakfast was incredible - savory Dutch pancakes - one order with ham and cheese, the other with bacon and bleu cheese. Unfortunately, we... read more

Went went to Daniel's 2 times in our 7 day stay. Our first meal was fabulous! The service was excellent and the atmosphere romantic. We liked it so much we chose to go back. The food was average and with a $100 tab would expect more. The service was also on a lower level. Probably will not return on our... More

Unfortunately, we found that out on our last free morning and couldn't repeat it.

Very sweet place on our way to Westpunt for lunch. The Caribbean fish soup was delicious, it may have been the best thing we had on our whole trip. My picky eater son had the Dutch pancakes, which he devoured. My husband had the large salad while I had the fish salad and it was so flavorful. You can tell... More

We had our last meal here with friends we met while in Curacao. The setting is beautiful, with the open air (covered) seating. We all enjoyed the 3 course meal for 55NAF. Order the salad with warm brie. It said it came with walnuts but it actually came with hazelnuts. I love hazelnuts so that was no bother to me,... More

Visited with the family (included 8 kids). They enjoyed the Dutch pancakes and kroketten. Adults enjoyed a wonderful three course meal. Pleasant outdoor setting. Staff was very helpful.

This was our 4th trip to Curacao in the last 10 years and we've always eaten at Daniel. The food is consistently very good. The salads are the best on the island. We love the old-fashioned laid-back feel to the place. Service is always so good. The staff is friendly and courteous. My husband loved the bouillabase!

It is a bit of a drive from Willemstad especially after dark. But well worth it. Food was great. Especially liked the fact that on browsing around this mansion we got a special tour from the owner through his wine cellar. Which made us feel right at home. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who likes to have a... More

This was a recommended place to stop after checking out from a Band Abou (west end) hotel on the way to the airport. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere. At lunch they serve sandwiches and the breakfasty Dutch-style pancakes. Delicious. On my next visit to Curaçao it might be worth the drive to go there for dinner.

We tried the 3 course meal and we had bouillabesse and a snapper dish. Bouillabesse was fine, and so as the red sauce for the snapper. The appetizer was better (seafood au gratin). Service was not prompt, although waitress was very friendly and tried the best to meet all customers' needs.

We ate at Daniel's several times during our stay in Curacao, and each time we were very happy with the food, the staff and the atmosphere. Everything the tried was very good. Definitely recommended!
