Just average.

The staff is nice, but service itself takes forever. More than 8 minutes just to get a table, aprox. 40 minutes to get soup and fries (appetizers) and dont get me started with the time that passed until meal came to the table. Not a restaurant to visit in tight schedules. The food itself is good... read more

The restaurant is located on the Otrabanda side of Willemstad in an open air setting on the second floor. We were seated along the railing with a view of the Queen Emma floating bridge. There we got to enjoy the comings and goings of enormous tanker ships guided by their tugs. It also provides a unique perspective of the bridge... More

We only stopped in for drinks as we had previously made reservations near by. Wish that we had stayed for dinner. Victor was our waiter and he was phenomenal. So nice and kind and he took great care of us!!! This place has to have the BEST drinks and drink prices on the island! And a great view. Don't miss... More

La Bahia is like many touristy restaurants in Curacao: overpriced and loaded with french fries. But this one is particularly egregious in being overpriced.

We had early dinner and was not impressed with the food. Really boring hamburger, both meat and bread was totally dried ut. Great location and nice view of course, but that does not make up for the food.

The management of this restaurant need to pay attention. Either it needs more staff or better trained people. We waited and waited for everything, from menus to appetizers, to main courses, and the check. One waitress seemed to be responsible for ten tables. When our meals arrived they came at different times and were incomplete. The food was just a... More

This restaurant provides a lovely open air view of the Punda waterfront. We had a delicious oyster soup and yeshi yena. Our waiter, Victor Tapia, gave us great service and the wait for our dinner was not too long.

ate dinner here tonight, it was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, and we were given a table next to the water to people watch and enjoy the view. We started with the escargot, they were delicious, I had the whole red snapper, cooked perfectly! My husband had the filet and asparagus, also cooked perfectly. We finished with tiramisu. Our... We enjoyed our meal at La Bahia, a basic continental menu. Not spectacular but good food. The best part is the location, especially at sunset. We watched the pontoon bridge open and close, and as the sun went down the lights came on and it was lovely.

Food was faster, cheaper and the service much better than others in town. Would recommend checking it out one evening at sunset
