over priced and poor service

The best thing about this place is the view of Spanish water, the food is ok and unfortunately overpriced for what it is. My husband and myself and our travel companions recently had dinner at the boathouse and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We had the tenderloin, duck breast and rib eye steak. Everything was prepared to perfection, and the accompanying side dishes were a perfect compliment to the meats. We all cleaned our plates it was so good! We then had the... More

Sure there is a cut in half boat on the premisses, but that is about everything there is in relation to the restaurant's name. Food is ok, but nothing fancy or special. Price of a steak is usd 30 and other plates are also usd 25-30. There are better options on the island.

My husband and I ate dinner last night at The Boathouse and we had a very enjoyable dinnerr We would highly recommend this restaurant. We ordered 2 appetizers ,2 dinners ,a bottle of wine ,bottled water and the grand dessert and it came to $150. Nothing compared to NY prices. It was a little difficult to find but there are... More

I'd read some mixed reviews of this place and thought it might be potentially pricey and pretentious. Not so. Food was very well thought out, excellent quality and packed with subtle flavor. We had 3 courses (I just had one glass of wine - my wife doesn't drink) and a couple of bottles of San pelligrino and the bill was... More

For a place often reviewed as one of the best restaurants on the Island this place was a massive let down. We went there for Christmas dinner only to find that the hostess was unbelievably rude and argumentative, choosing to convince us to sit in less desirable table so she could keep tables open for later customers. Despite our reservations... More

This restaurant is a little bit challenging to get to but google maps and garmin both drive you directly to it. It's too hot in the daytime to try to do lunch so the restaurant is only open for dinner. The view from their deck is spectacular, overlooking one of the marinas in Spanish Waters. You are up high so... More

The restaurant is a little hard to find but well worth it. The view over the inner bay in the evening is not spectacular at night but would be fantastic at sunset which is when this is probably at its most popular. This is not fine dining but good solid tasty cooking. My main gripe is that they would not... More
