This beach was great for a day trip. It cost to rent chairs and to stay on the beach but it is worth it for the view, water and atmosphere. The snorkeling isn't bad - playa lagun is better for that sort of thing, but all in all this was one of my favorite beaches on our vacation.

Lovely beach, definitely worth a visit. I wasn't impressed with the food at the restaurant though, simple menu and the restaurant didn't look very clean. However I would not hesitate to return as the beach is great and this is the main reason for coming here.

This is a pay beach, roughly $5 for entrance and a lounge chair. I love this beach and the atmosphere. I was there with a buddy of mine, he hated it! It is not for everyone; it is a very natural beach and many rocks. There are no motorized crafts in the water and the entrance fee pays for the... More

Only open until the beach closes at dusk - but lovely for lunch - great view, efficient staff and good food

Great beach day. Chairs for rent, just go find ones and someone will be around eventually to collect money. Snorkeling was great. Food at restaurant was delicious.

My family loves this beach, we can always find shade and beach lounges. The restaurant has decent food as well.

The water is shallow for quite some distance, and this beach is tucked into a bay so the waters are quite calm (rare on this island!). A great place to snorkel, and there are quite a few varieties of fish swimming around the coral just a few feet under the water's surface!

A small piece of paradise. Although it has to be paid, it is quite cheap and offers a lot of facilities, as a parking lot, fresh water shower, restrooms, a restaurant and snack bar, chairs at the beach, a dive center and something more. I do recommend.

This is much higher quality than an ordinary beach bar. Some people actually go there for the food, rather than to swim. Although it is close to my house, I seldom go there except with a group, because the road to the Porto Mari Beach is horrible, one pothole after the other.

During our last vacation (3rd) at Curacao we made sure to visit Playa Porto Marie at least every 3 to 4 days. Making sure we arrived there before 9.30am guaranteed us sun beds at the sea shore. It is a very relaxed beach with beautiful fish to watch while snorkling and very nice servce to get for drinks and lunch.... More
