Loved eating at Hook's hut. beautiful view of the beach, and a lot of fun to watch the beach goers. The food was ok, but good value. Great place to have a meal and/or a drink and just relax on the beach.

If you go to the old Hook's Hut website, it says the owner "has sailed for more tranquil waters due to vicious pirates." Since it was close to our hotel, we were a bit discouraged but a walk to the place showed to be open and doing well. We had a group of ten - teens and adults - went... More

The view is very nice, but the food and service were not very good. I had the catch of the day mahi and wife jerked chicken. Both were OK but from a price value for the food not very impressive. The view on the other hand is wonderful. The service was slow but not horrible.

The view is great, but the food and service definitely left something to be desired.

Great spot, right on the beach. Locals, tourists, old, young, even kiddies enjoying this place! Cold beer and good food is here - make sure you ask for extra Garlic Mayo for your Fries!

Wow.....what a setting...dinner on the beach, tikki torches, beautifull pier, local staff, fishermen in little boats on the horizon, and great food. We ate here 3 times with 2 toddlers. They were playing in the sand, we had a relaxed dinner. Local staff, could be a minus, if you expect a rolplaying waiter (good evening sir...my name is Jim...I'm your... More

Hook's Hut is great, the ambience is far the best on the Island. Nice local staff, good food and the music is fantastic, old school in "Hemmingway style" The mojito's are awesome, thanks Janko the bartender from Cuba. Loading band on wednesday you have to see. We had a great time and suggest everybody has to visit this Piratesnest. Lothar... More

Although a great spot and good atmosphere, quality is not as good as expected. Sand in food, no excuses and alternitives offered to guest and even children. The money is the only thing they go for.

Call ahead for dinner reservations if you want a seaside table in the sand. Food is good by Curacao standards. Prices fairly reasonable. Service; well just remember you are in Curacao, relax and enjoy the view. Excellent red snapper in mango salsa and excellent mahi in roasted red pepper sauce for dinner. Snack menu is great for lunch. Warm goat... More
