Originally, we thought that this was a house that Al lived in, but it isn't. According to the information posted around the house, it was used to store alcohol by Al, and was once visited by Al as well. It is a super beautiful house in a lovely setting, and a great spot to sit and enjoy a drink (mojitos... More

We were intrigue by the history and wanted to check it out. Being true or not didn't matter in the end as the the house is very unique, beautiful and classic! Try to sit at the varanda in the back to see the beach, it's gorgeous. Once you are there, get the piña colada, it's the best one I had... More

What a great experience! We only had time to enjoy a drink on the patio but what an experience it was! I have never had such a great mojito! The view is breathtaking and what a perfect location! The staff is very friendly and you can tell they enjoy their job! We took a wonder threw the house/restaurant. This would... More

This place gives an insight to historic reality. Try to be prepared by reading about it and the time of its prosperity and you will appreciate the visit. Drinks were ok, but not top quality. The staff is excellent though with good sense of humour.

Food is ok, drinks are expensive but it's a must. Rent a scooter and go there to visit the house of Al Capone. Then grab a drink with a view on the sea, you will not regret this!

Despite the restaurant being quite a long way from the centre of town, it was a great little place to eat especially with the absolute beachfront position. Really tasty food in a great location, with lots of funny little curly tailed lizards to amuse!

What a Casa and you can easily imagine what it was like when he actually lived there! He definitely had a taste for the good life! Incredible views with the back of the house sitting right on Varadero beach. Now operated as a restaurant the staff are friendly and informative, food was delicious and reasonably priced, and a band was... More

Lovely view from the restaurant, stunning actually of the sunset over the ocean however the dining experience was pretty terrible in all honesty. The waiter, although pleasant enough was useless. It was as if they'd just got a random guy in off the street and asked him to wait tables. He could barely speak any English and couldn't understand what... More

Not a seafood or meat eater myself, but the restaurant was an attraction in itself. The interior was chocful of mafia history, Al Capone's living, and coconuts falling off the trees.
