To be honest, this place isn't worth a stop. They were out of nearly everything on the menu food wise, very disappointing, so all we shared to eat was the shrimp cocktail which was not worth it. Service was very slow. Took the waiter around 20 minutes to bring us our drinks. Would not recommend it at all.

We enjoyed dinner at this restaurant. A good selection on the menu, however at 7:00 they were out of chicken so you can't count on them having everything available - which is often the case in Cuba. 3 of us had shrimp - excellent with generous servings. They had a very talented group of musicians performing while we were there.... More

I had octopus, shrimp cocktail & a few beers for dinner. The portions were decent sized but a couple things I didn't like. I found it quite strange that at the busiest time of the year they had no pork, chicken or tuna salad. The waiter told me they were out. They were the 3 cheapest things on the menu.... More

Skip this restaurant if you are looking for a place to dine in Varadero. The service was terrible. The waiter took our order for drinks and food - came back with some of the drinks and we had to reorder the others. The chicken tasted like it had been boiled. We proceeded to eat, sit with empty drinks and dirty... More

I dined at El Rancho twice while in Varadero in Oct of 2014 . It is a little slower time so no trouble getting a table. Nice menu . Chicken, Seafood, Lobster, Steak, It is located right on the main street ( Ave 1) across the street from the Beatles Restaurant which is more popular for its nightly entertainment starting... More

We were here on our last trip and loved it. What we ordered last time wasn't on the menu this time so we asked about it and they made it for us anyway. I had a small filet and a lobster tail. It was very good. Especially the sauce that came with the beef filet. Our resort was a few... More
