Awesome chicken, dinners for 2, delicious dessert, one of the best cocktail and coffee places (real milk), and yes, they have lettuce.

Stumbled upon this place after we were told the restaurant in which we wanted to eat was closed for renovations. Somewhat expensive for the quality of food we got though, I must admit, those who had seafood were happy with their meals. The worst part of it all was the service which was uneven at best. We seemed to be... More

We had dinner here quite often, because this is also one of the very few restaurants in Varadero that is government owned and that accepts Visa. When the Canadian dollar is so low and you start losing so much on the exchange, you have to start looking for places where you can pay with Visa (like in the rest of... More

Very good service and wonderful food that is very, very reasonably priced! Enjoyed the atmosphere expecially the old car that is in the restaurant and so typical of what one sees in Varadero! La Esquina is definitely a place to dine when in Varadero.

While it is the fast food version of a great meal, it is still great! A must try if you are looking for some ethnic fare :D

Old, Cadillac cars, best black beans rice chicken or fish. Arro con pollo y frico assado, y pescado as they say in Cuba. Big portions, great price, nice little restaurant in the middle of Varadero.

Its an open air restaurant, nice decor, good service, good prices, good food. Lots of variety. We celebrated a birthday there but have gone there regularly every visit to varadero. It is one of our favorites.

Nice enough setting with some interesting and cool looking decoration items. Service was very average - not particularly friendly, and looked as though it was a chore every time they came to serve you. Food was definitely edible but no more - just average. At least the servings were a reasonable size rather than the usual Cuban standard of a... More
