Stay in this hotel and have a drink at the rooftop bar and a drink or tea at the veranda, but the food is mediocre - especially the pizzas and pastas - have a cuban sandwich if you are going to eat - but mostly just enjoy the view

right on the cathedral plaza, the place is relatively upscale fro Santiado DC, being part of the hotel. Good place to stop for a rest and refreashment whilst walking around town.

After a long, hot walk through the city we were craving for some easy but good food. luckily the menu of the restaurant had a real beef burger with fries. I know, when in ....eat like ..... But once in a while you want to eat something else than chicken with rise or rise with chicken. Hotel and restaurant gives... More

Awsome place at the very center of the city with a great roof terrace with a bar where you can enjoy not so expensive mojitos :)

If you're looking for a light lunch at a nice place to get out of the heat with a nice view I'd recommend the hotel terrace restaurant.

The 1st floor open air terrace restaurant has beautiful views over the Parque Cespedes and the cathedral. The terrace meals tend to be of the light snack variety - sandwiches, through pastas, to the usual Cuban chicken, pork & fish. Quality not great, but acceptable.

This is a fantastic spot for wonderful views of Santiago - not one of the high spots of my Cuban travels nonetheless. But the food is average to poor - my pasta arrived stone cold and my partners pork was mediocre. Go for the view and a drink and leave then!

Continuing the tradition of the fancy hotels having worse food than the shadiest cuban-peso restaurants, this place could really be helped by a re-invention of the rooftop restaurant. The view is among the best in the city, and while the cocktails are unsurprisingly expensive (for cuban standards) their quality is really up there, particularly the Pina Colada, which was the... A pizza on the terrace of this very smart hotel overlooking the main square was a nice relaxing end to a busy day of sightseeing, and a pleasant change from the usual menu choices. The view across the square is great, and the view from the rooftop terrace out across the bay is even better.
