El Aljibe is a pretty big restaurant and they have a descent menu, but there is only one thing to eat here, the barbecued chicken. It is set up as an all you can eat dish with rice, black beans, a small salad, and fried plantains. All of it was amazing! The rice and beans were probably some of the... More

We the chicken & rice that El Aljibe is famous for but we were disappointed. The skin wasn't crispy, the taste wasn't want we expected it to be.... More

Please leave a space in your tight travel agenda to eat at El Aljibe where you will savor the best Black beans soup and chicken around! 2 dedicated brothers persevered their pre-revolution endeavor to prove they were the best from the very beginning!

I spent 5 days in Cuba... Ate 4 times at this place. Excellent place. The food tastes very good, the cleanliness is well above the Cuban norm, and the service is very good.

Our group of fourteen dined at El Aljibe four lunch on our last full outing together, and I am tremendously glad that we were able to partake in the ambience, the very delicious and flavorful polo and all that accompanied it, and the overall atmosphere. The generated service was prompt; the waitpersons seemed to care, and the comfortability all added... More

My wife and I made sure we took a cab here specifically to have the pollo asado. As advertised - afterwards, you'll think and talk about it, and maybe even try to recreate it when you get home. The place is big, mostly outdoors, caters to plenty of bus tours, but seems equipped to handle everyone. When we got there... More
