Good food, not much atmosphere

This restaurant was recommended by our guide book, so we made a reservation and tried it out. The reservation was not actually needed on this occasion, there were only a few other people eating in the restaurant, which damped the atmosphere somewhat. Decoration was in a nautical theme, nice enough... read more

the appetizers are great and a selection of them makes for a great lunch. Otherwise too crowded with tourists and the mains really do not give a good dinner value. Not what it once was.

My firSt night in Havana and was recommended by a local. Is in old Havana, nice view, excellent food, especially the creole lobster with potatoes. Great wine .a little pricey but the service was perfect.

This place was a real revelation. The food was outstanding and quite different from anything else we ate in Cuba. We had other good meals, but this place really stood out for the quality of the food and the style of presentation. The staff were also good, helpful and friendly.

We were following a path of Anthony Bourdain. We went there and were very, very happy. Food was well cooked and it was delicious! We sat outside which at the end wasn't the greatest idea because cars driving by makes this place noisy. Also people trying to sell you some staff just walks in our stands just outside trying to... Like another reviewer, I ate there with a group of 25. I found it to be excellent as to location and the quality of the food. We were served croquettes and shrimp in butter and garlic, baked tuna, and for the entree perfectly cooked red snapper, plus the brownie desert.

I'm always partial to restaurants located by the water. The service is great. Some of the appetizers are delicious - croquettes, shrimp in butter and garlic, a fish paste in bell peppers. The main course(my snapper was overcooked) and the brownie was burned, but the ice cream topping was very good.

Quite well reviewed in many web sites but is a bit charmless place since the design seems driven to accommodate tour buses and while very near the water, it is blocked by a busy road in front. The prices are higher than other havana restaurants but the seafood soup and lobster were very good and generous portions. Not my first... More

This restaurant is nice, slow service and good food-not great. We found it to be overrated and expensive. There are so many other wonderful places to try in Havana that I would skip this place and go to Casa de Miglis, 304 O'Reilly, or Ivan Justo.

Huge portions of well cooked food, efficient service, excellent choice on menu. Make sure to ask the staff which seafood options are fresh, as some are frozen. Location isn't great next to the main road: the covered outdoor area is quite noisy so we chose to eat indoors. However the air con was set quite cold which made it less... More
