I guess it is cozy in a way but feels more just like the Temple Bar in Dublin – tourist ripoff. But on the other hand, you are in HAvana so you should check it out.

Although is very famous, they don't forget to make your experience memorable. At any time in the day, you must have a mojito there and buy the music from the band, (instead of tipping)

The bar is beautiful and fascinating with all the graffiti but the mojitos are average at best but expensive. They are mass produced with little love or care. Better can be found elsewhere for 2-3 times less. Go for one and move on

At the time of writing this restaurant is ranked 67 out of the 380 odd in Havana, if that is the case I wouldn't want to eat at any of the restaurants ranked worse than here. We booked this restaurant through our rep whilst we where staying in Havana and paid for a drinks and meal package. It was a... More

OK...it's a tourist trap. But one that retains a sense of history and an authentic feel. The bar food was good: probably best to avoid the generous platter of pork scratchings though. A fellow barfly 'generously' offered to share theirs around! Excellent ropa and prawns. Great music flows throughout the day. The only gripe: exoensive mojitos!

Although this place is mentioned in all the tourist guides, I have to say that I did not find it at all to be a tourist trap. The music always great especially check when Taney is performing. I got obsessed with her and her group. Her smile and her music transfer you to a different world. The place has two... More

The place of Hemingway. The bar Bodequita of the center is the best in Havana. They serve unbelivable "Mojito".

It is a tourist spot, but a must do. The Mojitos are readily available - more expensive than elsewhere but not too extortionate - well worth the visit just for the atmosphere. Just a small bar, but managed to fit in stools, lots of people and of course a full band, with people outside peering in or dancing in the... More

Fabulous atmosphere and great music on the day we visited. Good food, friendly and welcoming - and very busy! If we get back to Havana we will definitely visit again.
