Had a few daiquiris here and took in the atmosphere and listened to the band. Very busy but good drinks. Little expensive compared to hotel and other bars but worth the extra.

You cannot go to Havana and not visit this place, very cool bar serving excellent drink. Daiquiri's are their speciality but they also do beers and other drinks from recollection.

Floridita was a fun place to visit. We went twice in the 6 days we had in Havana. They have a great cocktail list and of course, the daiquiri's are great. The Mango Daiquiri and the Papa Hemingway was a hit with us. The drinks are a little more pricier than what you'd get elsewhere ($6cuc vs $3cuc), but that's... More

Hemingway is supposed to have said "My mojito in La Bodeguita, my daiquiri in El Floridita" so if visiting Heminway's haunts is your thing then this is a must - as is having a photo taken with his statue which props at the end of the bar. A nice little bar with good daiquiris served with the ubiquitous fried plantain... More

Visited it to get Mojito which costs there 6 CUC instead of 2 like everywhere else. The drink was average. There was a live band with a good singer. It was overcrowded and you have to stay around just to wait to get a table which is not very pleasant. They live from their famous name and from the Hamingways... More

We went to Floridita twice in the same day. At lunch time - the place was heaving with excellent music and a really good atmosphere. Couldn't get a seat at the bar or a table in the restaurant. So we decided to come back in the evening. Arrived around 10pm and although I have to say the Daiquiri lived up... More

Floridita is well known because is where Daiquiri was invented. Also, Hemingway was a regular visitor here; there is a statue at the left of the bar where you can take a picture. Daiquiris were just OK, very little quantity and quite expensive (around 6 CUC and it was served in a cocktail glass). I think it's ok to visit... More

One of Hemingway's favourite haunts. Great experience for that alone, food and drink an added bonus.

Very interesting bar.......too touristy and pricy detracts however. The bar is full of history and is a must stop for readers of Hemingway

We went as part of an Ernest Hemmingway tour and it's definitely trading on its name. The drinks were okay, the bar was packed so atmosphere was good (if hot and sticky!) but the food was terrible. Go for a drink but not for food!
