Line up to hav your photograph taken beside Ernest in the bar. Nice and friendly to have a drink in the late afternoon. You can have a meal - but better have a mojito or one of the other spesialites from one og many of Hemingways bars...

Don't miss El Floridita if you want to sip away the hours while being transported back in time to Old Habana! We half expected the Rat Pack to walk in at any moment. Tip: you'll be asked by smiling locals if you want to buy cigars: Just tell them you don't smoke!

The cocktails we had here were both the most expensive and the most disappointing we had anywhere in Havana. This place is trading on its Hemingway connections so it gets the tourists in through the door, but not many seem to stay for more than one drink, and I can see why. It's not awful - the place itself is... More

Floridita knows what it is, and that's fine. Drinks are expensive for Cuba, and nothing special, but the waiters are dressed the part and it's a nice looking bar. We came for a nightcap, not expecting much - and 'expensive' drinks in Cuba are still fairly cheap, so it wasn't bad, but definitely not a place I'd feel the need... More

Visited it one afternoon and the place was packed out. Nice bar with its figurine of Ernest Hemingway in the corner but at the time we went you could not get near it for a photo. But go and you might be lucky, and it does have a nice interior and a live music during our visit which was in... More

A small group of us went to this bar to have a drink with Hemmingway hence I haven't recommended the meal as we didn't eat there. Great cocktails and I enjoyed my mocktail - great service, and very efficient as the bar was packed. They have local groups and artists singing there and wow, they just added to the atmosphere.... We stumbled on this restaurant and bar by pure chance and we were so glad we did. Although we did not have a booking and were unable to eat there we had to write and say how amazing the dining room was, such opulence very strange to see in this location, a very smart restaurant. We did however take advantage... More

Definitely worth a visit to drink in the atmosphere (and the daiquiris) in the company of Hemingway. Live music each night. Some better than others! Be prepared for a crowded bar. We didn't eat here. Very touristy, but with we spent two great evenings here with friends

The place is crowded and dated and the drinks are overpriced. Only go if you're going to honor Hemingway. If you're just looking for a drink, you'll be annoyed by the constant stream of tourists walking in to snap pictures.

Food we ate here was nice, but staff seemed off hand, and service poor! Food over priced in comparison to what is available in the area. Living off the fact that Hemingway used to come here, they seem to think they are such a big tourist attraction that they don't need to bother being polite or attentive.
