Good food cozy restaurant

Located in old Havana, food was good and server who attended to us was friendly and guided us through menu (as we speak no Spanish). We tried the duck and enjoyed it. Make sure to make a reservation before you go as the place gets pretty packed especially for dinner.

The restaurant has a great setting in a quaint old house, and we were quite pleased to be taken all the way up to the roof to our table which overlooked many of the attractions of Havana. However, this was short lived once we realised that being here left us out of sight of the waitstaff, who then proceeded to... More

Our casa was located just a block away from this restaurant and we saw the lovely roof terrass every day from the street. One evening we decided to check the menu but at the door the guy stopped us and asked if we had a reservation. We said no and that we would like to see the menu anyways for... More

This was highly recommended and my friend and I ventured out to this restaurant on a rainy night. It wasn't far from our hotel so we walked. Even though the streets are not well lit, I never felt unsafe in Havana. Like almost every restaurant we went to you have to climb flights of stairs. The interior is eclectic and... More

Our waiter was unhelpful and seemed like he was in a hurry. We had other friends who had been here and had a nice experience (we went to their other restaurant around the corner for mojitos and they were great) so it was a real let down to have such a bad experience here. The waiter didn't seem interested in... More

You go up some rickety stairs to the restaurant which is spread over 3 floors i think. We ended up on the rooftop under cover from the sun. Don't expect great views across the city but theres something about rooftop eating... The menu was on a blackboard and carefully explained to us by our friendly waitress. The highlight was a starter... More

Not only is the food good but the people in the kitchen take great pride in how each dish is presented. I had the Fish stew (forgot what the Spanish word was) and it was delicious and had plenty of different types of seafood and lobster. The table next to us got the Lobster and it looked like an art... This is a quaint paladar and well located across the road from the Museum of the Revolution. The menu is only on a big balckboard and in Spanish so you have to really go with the reccomendations of the staff which worked well for us. It is a intimate setting and has good servie. A reasonable price for the meal.

Food supplies are not reliable in Cuba but this paladar was a good once used by National Geographic. Our group had a set menu but this is a good place to try.

I had been disappointed not to be able to get a table in La Guida, and went to this restaurant on the advice of the hotel concierge. I was absolutely delighted and would have returned had my trip been longer. The restaurant was everything I had been hoping to experience in Havana - quaint, intimate, rooftop space. However the food... More
