Visited Ivan Chef after recommendation from fellow traveller. Easy to find on tourist map and taxi from the National only 5 CUCS. Up a wee staircase, but host already awaiting with our name/reservation at the door. Very homely but eclectic decor inside harking back to the 50's. Menu as mentioned before, in Spanish, however our Maitre D for evening, had... More

When we booked a table for dinner (through the hotel that we were styling in), the concierge also confirmed the recommendation, which made us confident in our choice. We walked down the street to Ivan Chef and were greeted by a guy on the street 'Mr and Mrs Jones?'. It was great that he was there otherwise we could have... More

Clearly one of the best restaurants in Havana. The food was amazing. Was a bit skeptical when the waitress suggested I have the a Seafood casserole but I'm glad I went with her suggestion .As close to fine dining as you will get in Havana.

BEWARE OF THE MAP! The tripadvisor location map for this hotel is wrong as of 14 june 2014. The restaurant is actually on the SE corner of the junction of Chacon and Aguacate, about 5 minutes walk NE from the Parque Centrale Hotel. Sorry, i don't know how to fix the Tripadvisor map. We ate dinner for two, Friday night.... More

Visited on the recommendation of the Consierge at The Iberostar Central in Havana, a short walk from the hotel although even with a map easily missed. The restaurant on three floors supplies well prepared food and in a pretty setting. Not Michelin starred but of a suitably high quality and highly recommended. the pictures of Fidel on the wall with the... More

Blink and you'll miss it, you'll need clear instructions and maybe a torch to find this one! But wow it is sure worth it! Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere and an intimate, cosy setting, the staff were friendly, charming and attentive and the menu huge and varied. We let the waitress choose for us and weren't at all disappointed.... More

Amazing food one of the best around - the service and atmosphere were fantastic. The lobster with chocolate was beyond belief.

We recently visited Cuba on a People to People Exchange and dined at Chef Ivan Justo's restaurant. Quite a step up from the government-owned restaurants. Very nice and very clean. Would recommend it but make sure they are open before arriving.

Really enjoyed the food (I can recommend the conejo / rabbit) and the atmosphere of this wonderful restaurant. A bit more pricy than the regular restaurants, bit it is worth it! Kids loved it too.

Visited on our first night in Havana after being recommended by the hotel concierge... It was early and quiet and you would walk past the place without noticing really. Menu was on a chalk board and prices were at the op end for the city... Quantity and quality of food was good. Service was good and typical. Without being disrespectful,... More
