Coveneient place for lunch or dinner

This restaurant is very close to the Museum of the Revolution and the Musee de Belles Arts. On arrival we had to make it past a very large man at the street entrance who checked our names against his list of reservations and then rang a gong to let us in. Upstairs there are two main dining areas... read more

We had a terrific meal at this small and cozy paladar. Although not my thing, our group LOVED the baby eels in garlic oil. We shared tacos and ceviche, very good. The star of the night was the suckling pig. One of the best pigs we had in Cuba (and we had lots of pig). The restaurant is very near... More

This was one of the best meals we had in Cuba. If you like rustic, real food with tons of flavor, this is it. Ceviches are great, but the real treats are the eel appetizer in olive oil and garlic and suckling pig - unbelievable. The chef cooks in a tiny kitchen, but delivers bold and wonderful flavors. Room is... More

Group of 7; all ordered different mains. Appetizers were all great. Good wine. Mains under seasoned but well cooked. Amazing portions. Superb service. I would go back and just order more apps.

A little hard to find cos the map location on the internet is wrong. No. 9 Aguacate. It is at the northern end of Aguacate. Literally. Big guy at the entrance downstairs will ask if you are looking for Ivan Chef Justo if you hang around looking lost, like I did. Reservations needed. They have 2 tables of outside (rooftop,... More

As another visitor said: Quirky. A restaurant that we are told should not exist, as it is a private restaurant which is not allowed. Thus, it is not obvious from the outside that it even exists. So, after knocking at what appears to be a house, the door opens to reveal this restaurant spread over 3 floors and a small... More

Had a terrific lunch here after visiting the Museo Nacional de Bella Artes - also a very good place. Had a wonderful pumpkin soup, delicious and served with croutons and a drizzle of oil (olive I think). Beautiful presentation. My companions had Taco de Casa, which I shared. Very good, also beautifully presented. Excellent service, clean bathroom with no coins... More

This restaurant is above a hair salon and is situated behind Grandma's yacht in Aguacate9, Esquina A Chacon. The food is to die for and placed upon a huge blackboard for you to chose. The waiters are attentive and drinks, mainly cocktails were very good. Too much food to chose from really but we loved it all. The restaurant is... More

We were recommend this restaurant by a travel agent who arrange plans for us in Cuba. It was close to where we were staying ,so we went there for dinner. You go up very steep stairs to the restaurant. Its a bit small in size, so noisy. They recommended the lobster which was 30 CUC, we were disappointed with it.The... More
