I had dinner and the duck was tender and juicy. The queso frito is a must. Excellent wine list and dessert is great. Service and atmosphere is very trendy.

Be careful of getting had by Taxi drivers who get around $10 per person for taking you to a private restaurant. Call first and check the prices. The food is excellent.

I love this place. I think the food has gone a bit down hill however. We had queso frito as an ap and there was some sort of powdered veg stock base sauce on top which was gross. The shrimp were overcooked in a not very interesting orange sauce but the duck main was nice as was the grilled fish.... More

We arrived promptly at 8:00 for our reservation last Tuesday evening. The space is indeed gorgeous as others have mentioned. Less than half the tables were occupied. Despite this, after being seated we apparently became invisible; waiters would walk by but they quickly looked away. After 15 minutes I got up and went into the hall to find out from... More

We loved the decor in the restored mansion and the fellow with the flashlight who escorted us from the taxi, and that was before we loved the food! The service was friendly. The wine was good. It was a really nice evening.

beautiful Paladare. the different rooms have very different feels but all of them are elegant. Have a seat and browse the many delicacies on beautifully handwritten menus. The service is sublime, perfect blend of attentiveness and attention to detail, but not overbearing. The food was perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. Could not have been happier with our decision to dine... More

I'm Cuban born but live in Canada for the last 22 years. I travel extensively both for work and pleasure and can truly say that this is one of the most memorable restaurants I have been to. It also provides the perfect respite from the monotony of the restaurant scene in Havana - most restaurants serve almost identical menus. The... More

Our casa owner recommended Le Chansonnier and it was really the first good food experience in Cuba for us. The prices were a bit on the expensive side but definitely worth it.

Having been disappointed by several of the paladars in Havana, I wanted to try Le Chansonnier as I had read about it in National Geographic. The location was away from much of the touristy parts of Havana (in Verdado) and the restaurant was located inside of an old villa---loved the artwork and art instalations on the walls. It was just... More
