Planned on going here before our trip to Havana. Great italian food! and well worth the trip from the old city. Spent CUC 12 getting here in a taxi and CUC 14 getting back to the old city. Great italian food, we got basic italian dishes that we had cravings for and really enjoyed them! Great pizza also.

I would have to say, ( and I am of Italian decent) This restaurant rates as the best Italian food I have ever experienced in my life.....this includes Rome. Situated in a house, indoor and outdoor....it has a great ambiance, service and food. Go there for an amazing dining experience !!

This was the best or second best Italian meal I've ever had. But the service of our waiter was out of this world. She was like the marry poppins to waitressing. Her performance as a professional was like none I have ever witnessed. Although her knowledge of wine and command of English was not of of the best of her... More

Visited many restaurants throughout our week in Havana. La Carboncita was walking distance from our Hotel in Miramar district. We visited a total of 3 times for either lunch or dinner. My son was on a mission to find good pizza. Everywhere we went for pizza including old Havana, other downtown areas and many restaurants in the Miramar district could... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by colleagues at work. We were not disappointed. The quality of the food was very good. Our waitress (Mairelys) was fantastic! She was very attentive and spoke good English. It may be the best pizza I have ever tasted. Their pork pasta dish is extremely good too. With fans strategically placed around the patio,... More

Visited La Carboncita with four colleagues for dinner. We were greeted in this clean, comfortable paladar by a server who spoke English pretty well. Since there was a large group we sampled many dishes, and mostly they were pretty good. I enjoyed the pizza very much, but the seafood appetizers, pasta, and fish we also tried were all quite competently... More

A stroll from Miramar hotels Melia and Occidental, this terrace resto combines the best of fresh local ingredients with imported items in wonderful ways. Our server was almost fluent in English, and eager to make sure that we were pleased. The salads were large enough to share as an appetizer, we did the same with a vegetarian pizza. A pasta... More

We went here as we were staying in a hotel nearby. There were 6 of us and about 12 empty tables, first one waitress told us to wait, then got what looked like the cook, who told us to wait and then a waiter appeared and said we could sit at any of the empty tables . So a bad... More

We found this place on Trip Advisor, and our taxi driver, who also does tours in havana in his a/c private taxi, recommended the place. He frequently takes tourists here. The pizza is delicious! The owner came by and greeted us! We sat outside and there was a nice breeze. Located in a residential area, so might not be easy... More
