Brand new restaurant , opened in February 2011. We were one of it's first customers. A 'Palador 'style restaurant located in a penthouse apartment of an of classic 1950's building; with magnificent views over the city and of the ocean. interior decor is modern1950's cool, creative, and artfully appointed. the food was excellent!!! One could could compare easily to a fine restaurant in Paris, NY or London. staff are young and attentive and gave great service.

Very nice rooftop dining

3 blocks from Hotel Nacional de Cuba. Good food, nice staff. We were with a group and were pre paid, so I can't speak to pricing.

This restaurant obviously is there for one thing - to impress and attract tourists. Good luck finding any local Cuban eating here, you will be surrounded by foreign tourists and pay twice what you would pay in almost any other restaurant, including other good paladares. Although the location on the top floor is nice and the food fine, we found... More

For atmosphere and food, Cafe Laurent continues to be among the best in Havana. If you are traveling to Cuba, I suggest you make reservations before you arrive. And if you can't, you should contact the restaurant as soon as you arrive. They stay booked.

We visited Havana in March (on a one day trip) and had lunch in Cafe Laurent. Great cuban food, excellent service and beautiful view over Havana busy streets. Nothing to complain about - we definitely gonna be back !

Another unforgettable dining experience at Cafe Laurent, one of Havana's BEST Paladars. Visited in February with a group of 20 international co-operative leaders. The food, the service and the ambiance were ALL beyond exceptional. So much so that at the end of the meal, we insisted their hugely talented chef along with very professional wait staff come out to take... More

After a fabulous ride around Havana in classic cars, we were dropped off in front of this apartment building. The elevator looks a little suspect, so we all trekked up to the 5th floor and walked into this beautiful space with amazing food! It was the best meal we had in Cuba! (because I went as part of a travel... More

This is your typical Cuban food. The cook here knows what he's doing. The food is cooked properly and service is excellent. The only thing I don't like is the elevator in the way up. I rather take the stairs up. To noisy and you know! I do want to spend my holidays inside one.

A short walk from the Hotel Nacional, the restaurant occupies the top floor of a five story building. The view is fabulous and the food is quite good. There is a large selection of offerings, and the small bar offers all that you'd like. We had both a lunch and dinner there. I suggest that you make reservations, if possible.... More
