Description: Brand new restaurant , opened in February 2011. We were one of it's first customers. A 'Palador 'style restaurant located in a penthouse apartment of an of classic 1950's building; with magnificent views over the city and of the ocean. interior decor is modern1950's cool, creative, and artfully appointed. the food was excellent!!! One could could compare easily to a fine restaurant in Paris, NY or London. staff are young and attentive and gave great service.

This restaurant is hidden away and could easily be missed!!! We was taken here by our guide and the food was just delicious... highly recommended!!! The venue is a converted apartment... don't let this put you off... inside and outside on the huge balcony is a beautiful, stylish restaurant. The service is also fantastic. 5 STAR!!!! A must visit in... More

I must admit I had no prior knowledge of Café Laurent, until the concierge at Iberostar Parque Central recommended this restaurant. With some trepidation, as I always like to “check-out” places with Trip Advisor first, we were whisked away by cab to the Café. Upon arrival, I noticed we were in front of a modest apartment building of 5 or... More

On the top (5th) floor of an apartment block, Café Laurent is a little bit hard to find as there’s no sign at street level to advertise its location. Our Intrepid tour guide brought us here. The space itself has a lovely ambience and is beautifully decorated. The food was delicious and service was excellent. Prices were a bit expensive... More

Absolutely delightful. If you're in Havana do yourself a favour and go here!! Its 2 small blocks away from Hotel Nacional, we went for Sunday lunch. Had lobster and shrimp skewer which was huge, and delicious! Its on the top floor of an apartment building but is a restaurant in its own right not someone's house. We loved it and... More

On the 5th floor of a drab apartment block. Great atmosphere and food. Lovely touches. Great value. Imaginative menu and good attention to detail.

We stayed at the nearby Hotel Nacional which is one of the most famous hotels in Havana. We initially tried two of the hotel restaurants but the food was very poor. We then researched local restaurants and found this one - less than 5 minutes from the Nacional but not clearly advertised at ground level. The restaurant is on the... More

We thought the food here was delicious. The place is lovely and would be perfect for a romantic couple (we had our children with us though!) Pricier than the other restaurants we went to in Cuba, but still reasonable compared to European prices. We only had the less expensive main courses and water to drink and it worked out about... This restaurant is based in block of flats which wasn't a problem as there was someone at the gates to tell us where to go once we got there. This place has beautiful views over the city, fantastic staff (massive brownie points for singing happy birthday with me to my friend) and delicious food-both my friend and I had fish... More

We were both aiming for and stumbled upon Cafe Laurent in a lovely 50s apartment building in Vedado. The restaurant is beatifully decorated and the staff exceptionally trained while our food and wine was by far the best meal we had in Havana - house croquettes with fresh bread and oils, chateau briand with fries and 3 different sauces, chocolate...
