Havana Gourmet restaurants offer various dining and cultural one of the main streets of Havana options. In our building resides the American club, and our restaurant has several shields to confirm their presence. The building is home par excellence of an Asturian community of 35,000 members, but also distinguished by cultivating the art of cooking with restaurants of different nature: Havana Gourmet, La Xana and La Terraza, specializing in Cuban fusion food, Italian and grilled respectively. Rice, lasagna and fresh pasta, havana assortment, the slices of lamb with mustard and honey, leg of lamb chops, the malangon shrimp and octopus carpaccio and fish are some of the recommendations often held for the authenticity of the recipes and spectacular preparation, but customers can find in letters a range of proposals.

Excellent restaurant, a little bit pricey for Cuba, similar prices like in Canada. The food is very well prepared. Actually you can see the kitchen from a bay view. We loved that restaurant. Waitresses are dressed a Mexican style and bread at the beginning is served in a sombrero with a dip. The menu has a great variety of choices... More

Don't be put off by the view from the street level, the Restaurant upstairs is excellent (as most of the reviews) here say. The Prices for the Main Dishes are on the higher end for Cuba but then the portions are huge. We actually came back the next day for Lunch and had only starters which where quite cheap (3-5... More

Our tour group had our farewell dinner at El Gijones, located on the Prado. We were on the second floor with nice balcony views of the Prado boulevard. Our meal was predetermined but consisted of salad, rice, beans, pork and chicken. The meal was excellent. Don't know the price since it was included, but we also had an orchestra serenade... More

We had read all the great reviews about this restaurant and after searching for it, finally found it. The restaurant has 3 levels of dining as quoted by the staff, "1st floor - Italian, 2nd floor - Cuban, 3rd floor - grill". We ate on the second floor so that we could try Cuban food. I ordered the Ropa Vieja... More

We read some comments about this restaurant on tripadvisor and wanted to try it. We were really satisfied. We enjoyed the dishes a lot. It was the restaurant we enjoyed the most during our trip. Not easy to find so you should ask for indication.

The idea of three restaurants in one - pizza, cuban and BBQ - is good. But it doesn't quite fulfill. The food on the second floor (cuban) was just ok. A nice kitchen for cuban standard, but no applause. Good service, a nice place and a little view to the Prado if you choose the right table. Still worth a... More

Stay away from the ground floor restaurant. Try the second floor for better quality and good service, and by all means try La Terraza on the third floor. It is hard to give a review because it would be excellent for the third floor, good to very good for the second floor and pretty bad for the first floor, with... More

This restaurant is on the second floor and you can walk up or take the elevator. Once in the restaurant area things look a lot different than first appearances from the outside of the building.
