Late night dinner

Crazy waiter, full of stories (not sure how true they were). Restaurant is really popular so booking recommended. Food is good but not the best. Recommended for the experience, cool, quirky setting!

We visited on a hot afternoon and didnt have to book, unlike the evening. It was excellent service. I had the oxtail it was amazing. A wonderful dining experience in a unique setting. We were even giving a drink of brandy and a cigar to end our meal a wonderful touch.

We ate at San Cristobal last night and it did not disappoint. We arrived by taxi and had no reservations. Note - make reservations. They gave us the only table available and we were very lucky. Like all paladars the portions are huge. We started with the recommended appetizer assortment- which was a taste of 8 different appetizers plus lovely... More

This restaurant was a late add to our trip. It is located in a dark, out of the way place. Inside, it is a delight to behold. There are old clocks on the wall and religious artifacts. You are served plenty of food by friendly wait staff. The food was fantastic. After dinner, we were given shot of very good,... More

Do not come to Havana without coming to this restaurant, the staff are extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble, the setting has so much ambiance and charm that there are not enough superlatives to do it justice. The food selection is superb and extremely tasty and it was extremely good value for money

This restaurant has been our favorite in Havana for a long time. But during this trip, it went from the best in Havana to a new dimension, let me explain! I have been challenging Carlos, the chef owner for a while now for off the menu creations. It has gone from phenomenal to being some of the greatest dishes enjoyed... More

It is definitely very good compared to other restaurants in the city at the time I had dinner there. The food is a bit pricey, so that is why I didn't rate this restaurant as an excellent restaurant. It's nice for dinner, as long as you don't have expectation like you go to a nice restaurant in many other countries.

Standard for food in Cuba starts from a low bar but the food here was quite good. The white fish is beautiful. Like most places wine is over priced but the service and surroundings made up for it! Worth a visit for sure.

San Cristobal is located in a beautiful building with several nicely decorated rooms and generous use of air conditioner. The food was good although sadly not great but we had to lower our standards in Cuba. The bathroom was the size of half my London apartment, and an experience in itself. The service was attentive but not intrusive, but with... More

Hands down, the best Paladar in Habana. The service was friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful evening. All I can say if the food was fantastic!! Everyone in our group tried something different and none were disappointed. George took great care of us with great service, complimentary rum and cigars at the end... More
