Without doubt this has got to be one of the best looking restaurants I have ever been to. It's situated in Centro Habana and has a number of really well decked out rooms to eat in including a couple of super 'private dining' rooms (suitable for 6-8 people). The rooms were decked out with fantastic photographs, mirrors and pictures and... More

a higher end option for a night out but worth it for a splurge. and it's not "extremely expensive" as another reviewer suggests. there were 4 of us plus a hungry 2 yr old and it was $100 with a 20% tip. we all had drinks, appetizers and delicious mains with shared sides. the servers were lovely and funny and... The paladar has a nice ambiance. Firstly the design of the paladar took my atention. There were so many antique objects all around. The staff was sincere and sympathetic. The amount of the meal is huge and delicious. This is one of the restaurants that I recommend in Havana.

We've been to san cristobal for dinner and it was a great experience. The place is very nice, an antiquaries with a cool atmosphere. Service is also excellent, prices are fair and the food is very good in comparison with other paladares. Many touristic guides will go to this place with their clients. Try the fish with tomato sauce, delicious.... More

During our holiday in Cuba we visited many excellent paladars. We trusted the Rough Guide for San Cristobal but was disappointed. The house is beautiful but the food served is average and 3.50 cuc for banana chips is at least 3 times what you pay anywhere else. 2cuc for a small water.....try Dona Blanquita, Dona Eutimia and if you want... Highly recommend this converted old home that is a well known restaurant. Great service. Good food by Cuban standards. Old world style with fussy table cloths and antique furniture. Felt like eating in grandmas dining room . Great experience and highly recommended.

We enjoyed the experience of dining in this palladeres or private house. We ate garlic prawns followed by fish - all beautifully presented and very tasty. Interesting tour of the house afterwards - apparently when the family fled after the revolution the maid took over the house and it is her grandson who today cooks and runs this establishment. Wonderful... More

The restaurant was located in a very old house which we toured after supper. The meal and service were wonderful. We had the lobster special and the chef came out to meet us and see if we were enjoying the meal. We would return to this paladar!

And that would be the service. Sure, the food is definitely better than average. The décor is opulent bordering on kitschy (think gold picture frames of different sizes, and about 6 grand clocks in each section), but it’s the service that made me want to come back. From the start, Enrique treated us like old friends. He gave us wonderful... More

We first went to the San Cristobal in October 2011, for a birthday celebration. At that time it had only been open for a few months, and on the Saturday night there was only us and another couple in the restaurant entire. We stayed until one in the morning with the other couple ( from the UK ), Carlos cooked... More
