We enjoyed the experience of dining in this palladeres or private house. We ate garlic prawns followed by fish - all beautifully presented and very tasty. Interesting tour of the house afterwards - apparently when the family fled after the revolution the maid took over the house and it is her grandson who today cooks and runs this establishment. Wonderful... More

The restaurant was located in a very old house which we toured after supper. The meal and service were wonderful. We had the lobster special and the chef came out to meet us and see if we were enjoying the meal. We would return to this paladar!

And that would be the service. Sure, the food is definitely better than average. The décor is opulent bordering on kitschy (think gold picture frames of different sizes, and about 6 grand clocks in each section), but it’s the service that made me want to come back. From the start, Enrique treated us like old friends. He gave us wonderful... More

We first went to the San Cristobal in October 2011, for a birthday celebration. At that time it had only been open for a few months, and on the Saturday night there was only us and another couple in the restaurant entire. We stayed until one in the morning with the other couple ( from the UK ), Carlos cooked... More

We had a great dinner here in November, 2014. It is very nicely decorated - we sat in the main room. The staff were very nice. We had great vegetarian options. We had really good malanga fritters, cream of mushroom soup and gnocchi. I would highly recommend this restaurant! Make a reservation - it was busy!

Really nice restaurant. The complimentary bread was delicious. The service was excellent even though it was full and we didn't have a reservation we still had the pleasure to dine here. The decoration is really nice.

we absolutely loved the San Cristobal. The food was wonderful. Atmosphere amazing....it was like having dinner in a museum and where else is your ice cold beer served in a cranberry glass goblet? Service was fabulous, friendly and charming.

Indicated as 10 best "paladares" in Havana, we went there expecting less than they offer. Great service, gifts, and a wonderful meal. Great dinner for a very good price. Very recommended

The ambiance is real Havana inner city, a gem hidden away. The food was wonderful, service delightful and made a wonderful evening unlike their local rival La Guarida which is resting on its past reputation. The doorman is re

We were only in Havana for 3 nights and San Cristobal was recommended to us by our hotel. I am so glad they did as it was a wonderful meal with great service. I had the vegetarian lasagne and my partner had the fish stew they were both amazing! The food was hot and very tasty. The staff were amazing... More
