We came here by taxi after checking tripadvisor and it was the best dining experience we had in our 3 week trip all around Cuba July 2014.. We were a group of 8 with 5 adults and 3 children. We got a seat in the beautiful room by the entrance where the waiters explained some of the amazing history of... More

We came here based on tripadvisor recommendations and happy that we did! It is in central havana rather than the old part but what an amazing quirky eccentric little place. We were made to feel very welcome and although the restaurant was fully reserved we were shown a table. We all had slave quarter soup to start with which was... More

The plate of tapas style starters was probably the best thing we ate during 2 weeks in Cuba. Unfortunately the mains, sweet and sour chicken and breaded fish with Florentine sauce, were not quite to the same standard. However they were probably not terribly well chosen, as there were specials available. Very friendly and efficient service, including complimentary cigar and... More

Location is excellent, service is excellent, food is great, a bit pricey for Havana standards (16 CUC$ for fish filet, potatoes and a glass of white wine), but worth it.

In Havana most of the restaurants are the state owned ones. This means that the personnel get paid no matter what. Bad service, mediocre food and no incentive to be better. Some try but are mostly still lacking with younger staff having to be prompted by the more conscientious, and usually older staff. There are thankfully some that are better... More

I discovered this restaurant on Tripadvisor, and mistakenly thought that it was a place for Fresa and Chocolate movie. No regrets that I was mistaken! Excellent food, 5-star service and lots of caracter in the design of the whole place. You immediately feel like you are in the setting of the movie - either Fresa and Chocolate or 7 dias... More

What a magical night we had. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff was charming and the chef was so friendly. He came a spoke with us and had the nicest smile, you could tell he was happy doing what he does. On our last night there we danced and took photos with the whole staff. The... More

Tucked away on a narrow street in seemingly dicey surroundings, this gem offers some of the finest dining in Havana or, for that matter, anywhere else. The private restaurants (paladares) recently allowed by the government are hospitality spaces within the owner's residence. The 100-year-old mansion hosting the restaurant is spacious and imposing, but nonetheless inviting. The walls are crowded with... More

My favourite place out of all places we had visited in Havana. Literally had the most amazing evening in probably the quirkiest, most interesting restaurant I have ever been in. From the second you walk in, you realise you're in for something different. The owner has a "slight" obsession with clocks and there are lots of them everywhere. The decor... More
