This restaurant has a pretty setting surrounded by greenery in a lane in Old Havana. We had the great value set menu for lunch...I can't remember the exact price but it was certainly cheap and good quality.

We stumbled upon Cafe Lamarilla on our last day in Havana so our judgement is fairly based on comparison with a few other restaurants in old Havana. It looked pretty and inviting for a lunch stop on a hot day as it's down a pedestrianised side street and tables are spread across the street. We sat outside and had a... More

This place has a lot of outside seating with planting in a narrow pedestrianised street so it creates a nice location for eating outside. However the service was pretty miserable and the food on offer is ok but nothing special. We had the ropa Vieja (typical Cuban dish of shredded beef) which was quite nice but overall it is pretty... The food was fine, nothing exceptional. The location is lovely but the atmosphere was let down by bad 80's pop videos taking the place of the usual trio of salsa entertainers, but then I have an aversion to TV in restaurants, so maybe it's just me. Staff were lovely

Cuba is not exactly a vegetarian friendly place, but I found myself at home at Lamparilla. Fresh vegetables, good bread, nice location and friendly staff. Even their mojito was more than average.

The restaurant is very nice and the facilities are fresh. The tapas were partly very good, but also pretty average, which does not add up to a memorable food experience. This works fine if just hungry and passing by in central Habana Vieja. They have local draft beer which is rare and adds up to the overall impression of the... More

Habana´s food offer was not as good as we expected, in fact, it wasnt good in general. Most places tell you they are out of certain dishes all the time. This small, well situated Cafe was one of our best experiences in Habana. The food was good and more flavorful than elsewhere, but above all, the service was exceptional. They... More

Nice location, but the service is poor and the food is average. Waitress lost the order for one of us and we had to reorder and wait. Very cheap mojito though!

I recommend drinking or eating lunch here. The 1 litre of sangria mug and tapped beer are good and cheap. The food is cheap, but not very big (Note i have not tried the tapas).

I went past here a few times for lunch. Nice outdoor seating, food was good. There were road works at the time, but that's probably fixed now!
