The best meal we had in Havana!

We had reservations at another restaurant and while walking by here decided to try it instead. The food was amazing, and very reasonably priced. We had a party of 4, shared a bottle of wine and got some of the most expensive things on the menu and the bill came to $87CUC. The atmosphere is great... read more

After many trips to Habana I tried this place. I wish I had tried it sooner. The location on Calle Mercaderes is just a short walk from Plaza Vieja. The location appears to be an old printing shop. Politely greeted and led to a table. Service was attentive and prompt. I had an appetizer, main meal and a beer for... More

Easy to find in the old section of Havana, this restaurant is on Calle Mercaderes. Must have been an old industrial building, now mostly gutted out, but well decorated. Lobsters were delicious and service was above average. This is a very good alternative to hotel meals !

This was a nice place to have lunch and the food and price was reasonable. When we came to pay the bill the staff weren't very helpful. I probably wouldn't rush back here.

The setting was quite fun, very airy and had old printing equipment. We all had the lobster at 15 CUC. A little overdone for our Asian palate but it was still good. Came grilled and very meaty! Had some of the local style croquettes for starters and these have been generally good wherever we had them. Friendly service. A little... More

We liked the look of this old printing works, very quirky and completely open to the sky as you went further in. As its government run there were restrictions on what was available that night but what we had was good and well cooked. I chose tart of the day for pudding and that was disappointing, and a very small... More

First of all the prices were very reasonable and the food excellent along with the friendly staff. But to me the main attraction is the restaurant itself. Set inside a refurbished very old building where there is a courtyard above and you see the original stone archways and architecture. Tastefully decorated walls and furniture. Really nice. This kind of atmosphere... More

We ate lunch and dinner here and were impressed on both occasions. Found the staff helpful and keen to please. Found the food tasty and well presented. Would recommend the lobster when it is on the menu. Would be happy to go back

Most of the food is excellent - especially the lobster (beautifully cooked) for 15 cucs including the hors d'oevre... and the pearl of the Imprenta is the Manager, 'Perla'... what a wonderful, organised, warm and knowledgeable hostess!!

This was just next door from our hotel , and we'd seen Simon's review on line. The setting of a re-built print works is very stunning and a good accompaniment. Food and service were a little less impressive - they forgot our salad and rice and beans were predominant
