Good food and service

I was impressed. Food is really improving in Havana, and this government owned restaurant is keeping up with the trend. Great old building, excellent location and modest prices. Profiteroles! Delicious gazpacho. Fish and lobster very well presented. I was staying across the street, so I ate... read more

Excellent location, great atmosphere and beautiful building. We went for dinner and the food was really fresh and tasty. We were served fairly quickly and prices were very cheap. Definitely try the flan casero for dessert! The only inconvenient is that it does not have any AC and it can get quite hot...

We enjoyed a couple of meals at La Imprenta when we honeymooned in Cuba. It's in a great location in the old town near a few of the piazzas and the cathedral. The restaurant is nicely laid out with lots of historic items from the old print works. We took a bike tuk tuk to get around as it was... More

Where can I start ? The food was terrible, the chairs are hard wooden benches, I went in August and there is no roof or no A.C. The restaurant was full of flies and the staff weren't helpful. Even if your guide book tells you to go here don't, it was a horrible experience !!

One of the few good places to eat in Havana! Great food and historic modernized setting. Lobster was amazing, fish as well. As custom in Cuba, the service is poor but still better than most places. Touristy, but quality is still well preserved. As custom in most places in Cuba, paper towels are rationed when you use the restroom, so... More

Last in Havana 14 years ago. Could not believe such good tasty food available at such reasonable prices. Have been back 6 times over our 3 week stay and food always fresh and tasty.

We found the food at this restaurant to be very good, especially the chickpeas with chorizo and the lamb. The service however completely let the restaurant down. Our waiter seemed irritated about having to serve us and was particularly slow.

It was recommended in our Havana guide (made by the Cuban government) as a place with typical Cuban sandwiches. NOT TRUE! They had very few Cuban dishes (most cuisine was international). Of them, we really like the fried chickpeas.
