I love to eat a tasty meal. Travelling Cuba for a month I found that it was difficult to find delicate food. This place has it all; the food is amazing, the surroundings cozy and the staff very attentive. It is though quite expensive compared to cuban standard.

Dined here a deaux, we both enjoyed dinner. Had 3 courses, fish was excellent as was the dessert. Beautiful building and excellent service. By Cuban standards this is a 5 star paladar.

I had read about the restaurant in a travel magazine and I am definitely happy I remembered the name and made the reservation. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere in the historic walls and streets of Havanna is unique. A must in Havanna!

My wife & I visited Havana at the end of June as part of a 2 week Cuban honeymoon. We were recommended La Guarida by my best man and we were not disappointed! Firstly, the entrance is classically Cuban - almost derelict but charming. On walking up to the restaurant on the 2nd floor - we were taken aback by... More

This restaurant was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. The setting and atmosphere was fantastic and the food was delicious. It is a little more expensive than other restaurants in Havana but it was worth what we paid.

This is the best restaurant in Havana by far. Situated in a delightfully old colonial style building with a magnificent marble stair case. You wonder where you are going as you climb to the third floor to find just a door. Inside is restaurant housed in several rooms surrounded by photographs of famous patrons and glimpses of when it was... More

I keep going back in my mind to relive a one of a kind experience that tops any I have on memory. The property and architecture even in its current state was a sight of unimaginable beauty. The service was very friendly, and the meal was incredible. We ate at 5 star restaurants in the Bahamas, and the Cayman Islands... More

Probably one of Havana's best places to dine. Great views, great staff, should be 5 star in my opinion.

This restaurant is an incredible, place in havana, located in one of the old quarters, in an ancient building, that looks as if it would be torn down in the next few days (like most of the beautiful buildings in the city). However, after getting to the fourth floor through unpolished marble stairs, you can notice that 60 years ago,... More
