We dined here on two occasions during our stay in Havana as it was so good. The food was lovely and the drinks were also delicious. I thought the prices were reasonable as the food was definitely worth the price. A lot of restaurants are much cheaper in that area but nowhere near as good. They also had a great... More

Really nice place right on the Cathedral Square - little overpriced but still reasonable. Food was excellent and staff great

I visited El Patio as part of a lunch for my group touring Old Havana. The waitstaff was professional and courteous throughout the lunch. Food was good and we at off a set menu. We listened to live music during lunch and enjoyed the scenery from the second floor windows. The lunch was a delight.

This was my first meal in Havana. Food was OK, but nothing to write home about. The best part was the interesting building with a two-story internal courtyard. Band played bizzare music.

This restaurant was a delight. The setting is, as the name suggests, a courtyard with abundant greenery but set off from the street and so private and quiet. The salad was made up of tomato lettuce, guava and meyer lemon. Our chicken was nicely seasoned with a light, slightly sweet sauce and the dessert was a light bread pudding with... More

Very lovely setting, easy to get to, but food was only adequate. Not to mention, lots of cats roaming around the patio looking for food. This is a state owned restaurant so options somewhat limited. Fish was overcooked. Dessert was okay.

I came to El Patio as part of a group - so there was a fixed menu. I remember everything being delicious. The view from the upper patio is fantastic - great for people watching & getting a good pic of the action with a zoom lens. I asked the waiter for a 'business card' to remember the place -... More

The food was good but the view is what we went for. If you're going for dinner here, then go when the sun has set and the Catedral de La Habana is lit up! The dinner will be a little expensive for Havana, but you may sit for hours over a vintage Spainish wine and enjoy the view of this... More

An example of what poor management does to heritage. Beautiful house, and that's it. Nothing about food, drinks or service to positively highlight. The starters arrived 30 minutes later than the main entrees, and so did the bread! Impossible and pretentious!
