The location is the best thing about this place hands down. It's nice but very touristy and really I prefer places that cater to locals, especially as a solo traveller I'd rather talk to locals than other tourists. The food is nice it really is but you can get equally nice food for less in town.

You will find no locals in this restaurant, it is simply to expensive. But you get what you pay for. The food is a little more special than the standard Cuban food, the restaurant has a nice patio and looks out on a beautiful square. There was live music. Wine was expensice but the cheapest tasted ok. For European standards... More

A perfect place to people watch and also to combine with drinks at La Bodeguita which is just around the corner. Our food was good but we made the mistake of ordering some Californian wine (for the novelty vale and wondering how it got there) it was dreadful but we blamed ourselves, there were plenty of other wines to choose... This is a popular restaurant only because of its position, but you can get lucky. I was very specific about the way I wanted my fish--not breaded or battered, not covered in sauce etc., and I was rewarded with an excellent meal. It is a good spot at sundown, the cathedral square is busy and interesting. One major caveat: the... More

We first had a drink there, and then returned for dinner. Great musicians playing, and food was not bad. The Church is very beautiful, as is the square. Definitely worth visiting, at least for a drink in the afternoon! :)

We dined here on two occasions during our stay in Havana as it was so good. The food was lovely and the drinks were also delicious. I thought the prices were reasonable as the food was definitely worth the price. A lot of restaurants are much cheaper in that area but nowhere near as good. They also had a great... More

I visited El Patio as part of a lunch for my group touring Old Havana. The waitstaff was professional and courteous throughout the lunch. Food was good and we at off a set menu. We listened to live music during lunch and enjoyed the scenery from the second floor windows. The lunch was a delight.
