Just of Parque Central, 3 restaurants in one building. On the ground floor is the Italian restaurant La Xana, which we ate in many times. The food is easy and well presented - excellent salads, pizzas, pasta - the prices are very good and best of all the staff are helpful, friendly and happy to talk. We thoroughly enjoyed our... More

I took a group of 37 people on an academic trip to Cuba, and I had to manage various tastes and food restrictions. To accomplish this and still manage to get memorable results, I had to work ahead of time to get the right menu, price, day, and time. The chef at La Terraza worked with us, and delivered. The... La Teraza is the restaurant onthe last floor.Expensive and the service does not excell. There are 2 guitar players, who play very good. The young one is a gipsy looking called "Ruben".If aybody sees that scum, (at least), send me a picture of him, please! The restaurant at the first floor is by far the best!!!!!!!!!!!!

The people from Asturia seem to be responsible for a lot of very good things in Havana. I don't quite know what their relation is with Cuba but they deserve every support they can get. Check out their restaurants !

We loved this bar - unfortunately we only discovered it on our final night! Great cocktails at 2cuc, lovingly made by the barman. Cheap local non alcoholic drinks for the kids too! Quiet, small, intimate. As you enter the building, just ask for the bar and you will be shown up in the lift. Don't miss it!

The grill chef did a superb job on all plates (except the chicken fish combo was overpowered by conflicting flavors--not his grilling fault, I assume). Special soup w/ chiles and shredded beef quite tasty combo as was the grilled octopus and grilled vegetables--all very well done. Wait staff needs to lighten up a bit and stop trying to sound so... I was in Havana last week with a group of friends on a tour led by a local guide. She chose this restaurant for our farewell dinner and we were all glad she did! The place is historic: once a club for Germans that was taken over by Americans during WWII. We ate upstairs in a lovely old room decorated... More

I ate at the upstairs restaurant - the more elegant of the ones in the building - with 3 other travelers from my small tour. We all enjoyed our meals. It was like dining in a private club. The service and food were excellent. They also have an excellent wine list. Yes, it is a bit pricey but much cheaper... More

Went here for an early evening dinner before heading out to the airport. We choose to eat in the restaurant downstairs. The all you can eat chicken feast was just perfect for us, really tasty and lots of it. (From memory I think it was CUC 10 per person?) Quite a bit of atmosphere as a ballet class for tots... More

This particular place was the site for an old German gentlemen club (later used by Americans) and finally ending up to be the center for Asturians living on Cuba (My understanding is that the Austurians originates from Northern Spain!). However, they have 3-4 restaurants on the premises, all of the high class settings; one looks like the library of an... More
