Happened upon this restaurant by chance and was astounded by the quality of the food and the professional service. Had the best tomato soup ever!

Upon our arrival at this restaurant, I was delighted to discover that it was more beautiful than the pictures in my travel book promised it would be. It was set in a lush garden landscaped with ponds, fish and a small waterfall. The atmosphere was elegant, with soft lighting and a guitar player tucked to the side of the covered...

We didn't book - it was full, but they found us a table beside the guitarist. It was just around the corner from our Casa Verano Azul. Suggest you get your casa to book a table for you in advance. Lovely setting in someone's house, with garden area too. Locals and diplomatic people were eating, groups, couples. Everyone was much...

Thankfully we chose to eat here on our last night in Cuba. We had tried to book the night before (Valentine's Day) but were unable to get a table at this popular restaurant. Because of its location in Playa it is not a major tourist destination, the loyal customers who eat here are predominantly expats or better-off Cubans and they...

What a lovely place in Havana. The location is 25 minutes away from Old Havana but it is worth the trip. Great cuban food, great atmosphere, excellent service at very reasonnable price. Not to be missed when you go to Havana.
Beautiful atmosphere in the garden of the Cocina de Lilliam perfectly accompained by guitar music. Amazing for romantic dinners. Good food, I love the pescado en papillote, the lamb, the puree de boniato and the garbanzos fritos - if you can get one, what leads us to the downsides of this place. Often only 50% of the menue is available,...

This site used to be good, but deteriorated tremendously. No money back after you pay (just empty box) without giving any explanation. And worst of the worst (especially these days) they bring opened bottles of water, as for instance sparkling water. I do not recommend to anyone. Long ago was one of the best places, I will enter never ever.
This is a really nice paladar. firstly because it has some of the best food in Havana, secondly because the service is on point and lastly because the decor really enhances the dining experience. it is in Miramar, which is a little out of the central havana area but in my view, well worth a visit. there is always a...

The decor here was amazing. You can spend lots of time just admiring the decor. Fountains, lots of plants and just a relaxing place to be. The hours are a bit odd, noon until 3pm and 7pm until later.. Plus closed on sundays/mondays. The food is generally pretty good, but like many paladars they have good days and bad days.
Loved the lush garden and being outdoors made it more bearable that everyone in Cuba smokes all through dinner! Enjoyed the quiet guitar. The food was fine, nothing special, and the service a little offhand but OK. I would return for the environment but may not be worth travelling out from the old town. If it were just about the...
