Cocina de Lilliam is a CLASSIC!

Dined at Cocina de Lilliam three times in February, twice with group (24 Canadian farmers, 30 co-op leaders) and once for a quiet meal with friends. Superb all three times. If you are coming with a group, ask Lilliam if she will prepare a range of dishes to be served "family style" to get a true... read more

The journey was early evening in a 1952 yellow convertible Chevrolet, so we were off to a good start. The road soon became a bit uneven and then almost a track. At this point our driver had to carefully negotiate around two elderly people siting in the road going through bin liners. We were beginning to wonder if he knew... More

The house is beautiful and the environment is like being at home, classic, old but at the same time refreshing. My family and I enjoyed very much! The meal is delicious!

Inside a house, this restaurant has very good service and had someone playing a gentle piano when I went, creating a pleasant experience. The parma ham bruschetta is a noteworth starter. As the main dish, there is a fish made in laminated paper with some herbs that is the "greatest hit".

Tucked away from the centre of LA Havana but worth a visit for a calm and peaceful evening with delicious food, nicely presented ,quite European. Immaculately kept garden with a tropical feel. Good service, very clean, nice atmosphere.

This was the third and most expensive Paladar we tried during our stay in Havana. The terrace is spacious and beautiful. There was even a musician playing an electric piano for the patrons. The tuna tartlet I had as an appetizer was very tasty but the fish we had for our mains was overcooked and probably was from frozen although... More

Went to this restaurant with a group, some who had been there before. We ordered a little bit of everything and it was the best meal I had during my visit. The garbanzos, paella and octopus were wonderful. The surroundings are beautiful and the staff very nice and attentive. The one thing that was off putting is a 10% service... More

After finding this on tripadvisor and realising it was in the Miramar district (a short ride from our hotel), we decided to try La Cocina de Lilian on our 1st night in Havana. We didn’t know quite what to expect as we had not eaten at a Palador before and my husband was a bit dubious about eating in someone... More

Me and my girlfriend happened to just stumble in to a business card from this restaurant when we visited Havanna last new years and let's just say we were amazed! Walking in to the restaurant is like walking in to a tiny copy of a green wonderland. This oasis of green plants nice details and we'll fitted furnitured terrace area... More

Our guide Fidel (fideltapanes@gmail.com) took us to this paladar, saying they have the best seafood paella, but Dona Liliam calls it seafood rice! He told us not to order any starters, so we settled with his suggestion, ordered the seafood rice with beans and plantains on the side. Once the food arrived, it was just enough to leave all 4...
