poor food, terrible arrogant service,

A very sad and disapointing experience. I came with a friend colleague on an evening. Poor welcome, noisy place at the terrace with TV on a high volume. I ordered grilled fish, it first looked alright, but then came a terrible taste: the fish was not properly cleaned. Poor food. Then the bill... read more

We went in this restaurant suggested by a cuban man who obviously received a fee from the owners. But he corectly advices us about high prices compared to the other restaurants in Avana city centre. We was actract for the possibility to eat turtle. In this restaurant in fact there is possibility to eat some forbidden meats like turtle, moose,... More

We arrived late at our casa, greenhouse (which is awesome!) and the owner made a booking for us at don Lorenzo. Greeted on arrival and made to feel very welcome. Menu was extensive, food good and the service was prompt. It was a last evening in Havana and a really nice way to end our trip.

Wandering through the back streets on our way back to the centre of Havana after visiting the big Artisan's Market, we were handed a menu for this restaurant. Feeling thirsty, we popped in for a drink. With it's interesting decor and the excellent view of the street below for people watching, we had a drink and perused the menu. The... More

The Paladar Don Lorenzo was a much appreciated find for two vegetarians who were struggling a bit in Havana with this dietary requirement. The menu had several options for Cuban, Italian and Chinese and the service was excellent and prompt. The 2nd floor venue offers great people watching, views of colourful local laundry lines, pets, kids, etc all happening on... More

This place is 3 to 4 times more expensive than other corresponding restaurants. They may tell you about a discount but when the bill arrives, exactly the food that you have ordered did not include the discount anyway. No water in the toilet. Absolutely our worse experience in Havanna. Not recommended.

It was recommended by our trip organiser but we found it expensive and very oily. As it was our first meal in Cuba, we agreed to try the mamey juice and the banana fritter dish they recommended but they tasted disgusting. It seemed there was a lot in food quantity but a clear lack of quality. If you want something... More

I visited this restaurant 2 years ago from a friends recommendation and had a great experience. So I decided to take my friends there on my recent visit to Havana. Unfortunately not even close to being the same! The menu is pages and pages long and I'm not sure if the chef (and 3 other staff in the kitchen) are... More

it took Don Lorenzo staff 3 hours to bring us our lunch. I still don't know why we did not get up at leave. It was unbelievable. The food was not good. The owner yelled at us when we told him how long it took and that we thought that we were entitled to a perk of some kind. I... More

Our chauffeur recommended this place to us, as a very good one. When we arrived, it was on the second floor of a old house in a dirty street, there was nobody, except the manager of the place with a nice "sexy" waitress. He told us he was one of the best restaurant in Havana and that he only had... More
