Caters for Tourists

Enjoyed a lovely meal of mixed fish on the roof terrace. The meal was very good as was the wine and the entertainment. Sadly, once were served and had you main course we were forgotten about. This is Cuba and standards are what you would normally expect in more developed counties. The saving grace... read more

On the way up the stairs the separate dining rooms are inviting and fit the price, once to the roof top the views are perfect but unfortunately that's where it stops. Dinner for two and bottle wine will set you back $90-$100 CUC, which includes mandatory 10% tip which is added to bill. The food selection is limited and the... More

This was a good experience all the way from the dressed up man at the street level wishing us welcome. He recognised us even though we had not been here for about 1,5 years! They organised for us a table with a nice view at the rooftop. The restaurant does not have a very comprehensive menu as you can choose... More

What a wonderful restaurant, right in the heart of Old Havana, on the rooftop of a centuries-old stone building. The amenities are classical moderne and the food is exceptional. Service impeccable. View wonderful. You will be glad you chose this one!

I can only assume that Beyonce got better service than we did at this highly recommended restaurant. The food was above average, although the steak was very tough (unlike La Guarida-see separate review), but it would not have mattered how good the food was or how great the view, the service was so totally unacceptable that it ruined the whole... The rooftop view was lovely, though there are several steep staircases to climb before you get there. I thought the food was rather ordinary: a bland pumpkin soup, and grilled seafood. My Cuban friends were disappointed that dessert and coffee was not served after the meal. The travel agent recommended it because we needed a place near La Catedral. It's... More

There is a pleasant dining area on the roof-top. There is also an inside room. The entrance is up a flight of stairs. To get to the roof is up 3 flights of stairs. A person with a handicap would not be able to dine here. We were taken to the palador restaurant by our tour company. I had lobster... More

Very good food served on the roof-top terrace with views of the Old Fortress across the harbour. Inside dining too in a quirky, rabbit warren of stairs and rooms.

I visited La Moneda in April 2015 with my husband and a few friends who we had met whilst in Cuba. We visited at lunch time and were seated at the highest point in the restaurant. The atmosphere was great, a lovely view across the city rooftops and live music. The food was also of very good quality, all 6... More

Our guide took us to this restaurant which is beautiful and has a great view. On the downside, the service was terrible, with very rude waiters. After we asked for the bill we spent almost half an hour reviewing our bill because there were errors. Very expensive for the poor service and so so food.
