Great atmosphere

I visited La Moneda in April 2015 with my husband and a few friends who we had met whilst in Cuba. We visited at lunch time and were seated at the highest point in the restaurant. The atmosphere was great, a lovely view across the city rooftops and live music. The food was also of very good... read more

The rooftop view was lovely, though there are several steep staircases to climb before you get there. I thought the food was rather ordinary: a bland pumpkin soup, and grilled seafood. My Cuban friends were disappointed that dessert and coffee was not served after the meal. The travel agent recommended it because we needed a place near La Catedral. It's... More

There is a pleasant dining area on the roof-top. There is also an inside room. The entrance is up a flight of stairs. To get to the roof is up 3 flights of stairs. A person with a handicap would not be able to dine here. We were taken to the palador restaurant by our tour company. I had lobster... More

Very good food served on the roof-top terrace with views of the Old Fortress across the harbour. Inside dining too in a quirky, rabbit warren of stairs and rooms.

Our guide took us to this restaurant which is beautiful and has a great view. On the downside, the service was terrible, with very rude waiters. After we asked for the bill we spent almost half an hour reviewing our bill because there were errors. Very expensive for the poor service and so so food.

The position is the best because it's in front of the cathedral ...it's offering all Cuban traditional dishes but it's quite expensive for being in Cuba

Nice view and music for this tourist attraction, but after one hour no waiter had come back, and my wifie had finished allready her main course. They apologised and didn't charge the plate they braught 15 minutes later. But the evening had gone by! Yes I would have gone elsewhere, had I known...

We let our guide book this place for us earlier in the day. We sat on the terrace and enjoyed the view and the atmosphere.Good guitarist singing all the Cuban holiday favourites. The meal price includes a first course of home made soup and the main is accompanied by veg and rice and there is a choice of fish, pork or... More

We received the recommendation from our concierge and made a booking. We chose the adventure of accessing the terrace to see the sunset and lights and sat next to a wonderful guitarist singing Cuban folk songs. The menu was fine and the food good and well presented. Waiting staff were excellent. Prices in Cuba are very reasonable and if you... More

Make sure you find this address, because from the street it only looks like a stairway, and even that is almost hidden. But it leads to a very cosy dining room on the first and a rooftop terrace on the second floor. Mind you: not many tables, so do make a reservation, like we did overnoon, while in the neighbourhood... More
