First day of a 15 day family holidays around Cuba and this place was recommended whilst on an excellent private walking tour around the old town. After climbing a very steep and narrow staircase the views across the entrance to the port are stunning - especially towards the statute of Jesus. The menu offers simple fare - and the food... More

The rooftop dining room in this restaurant (which is definitely worth the climb for its view) is not its only dining room, but the other , more traditional "tablecloth" room also requires patrons to climb at least one set of narrow stairs. Everyone here is fortunately patient, so if stairs are a challenge but not an insurmountable obstacle, try to... More

We were recommended this restaurant as being 'the best' in Havana. We booked a table for 10 people on the rooftop terrace. Service was slow and we waited 30 minutes for our wine (it arrived in 15 minutes then we waited another 15 minutes for the waiter to open it). The menu was simple to read and mouth watering. Unfortunately... More

This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at our hotel. It's very quaint and in a great location in old town however I had a few issues. First, those that are elderly or have problems with knees, beware, it's up about 3 flights of a narrow staircase before you make it to their patio which we were directed to despite... More

I went to this restaurant as it was recommended by our tour guide, and by word it was that was the best tip of my whole holiday. This restaurant is based upstairs, on the rooftop and is really has quite a spectacular atmosphere. The setting is perfect for large groups, couples or even a family with live entertainment all night.... More

I had been here in past years and noted a distinct improvement this year. Service terrific, food very good and really convenient location near the Plaza de la Catedral. Varied menus with Cuban specialties like Roma vieja (I notiiced that radiation all Cuban food is more difficult to find as they have been catering to international tourists and dumbing down... More

Our waiter seemed very new and unsure of himself, and it seemed like he would just be damned rather than cover up his incompetence with a friendly smile. Great view of Old Havana. I had a seafood grill. The shrimp was obviously previously frozen and overcooked. Go elsewhere. The prices are significantly higher than what Trip Advisor lists.

We had a lovely meal here, they did a set menu type option in the evening, consisting of vegetable soup, a choice of mains then fruit and coffee. It was lovely, and we were seated on the rooftop overlooking the nearby square. Getting to the top of the building were some very steep stairs, so one to watch out for... More

I had lunch here as recommended by our tour guide. We sat on the roof top and the view was great. The lunch is a set lunch so you pick your main off a selection of around 8 different options and it comes with bread, soup and then the main meal. It would have been nice to have had some... More

Had been in Cuba for 10 days and returned to Havana before flying out to Guatemala. Found this on the last night and totally impressed. May need to book as was busy with small "Tourist Groups" but don't let this put you off. 2nd floor up and out on a terrace overlooking the river/estuary. I had the fresh fish dish... More
