Great drinks, great band

We stopped into Cafe Paris for a drink and to listen to some salsa music. It was wonderful! The drinks were strong and the band played some really amazing music. I have to make a comment about the flutist for the band. I am not really a "flute" kind of guy, but may I just say that this man... read more

Fabulous food - but we were only able to do so because we paid for the Hemingway tour - the tour guides knew where the best restaurants were. There is no advertising and some of the places we ate at had no signs nor were they on any "strip" but the meals were included and with lobster and steak for... More

Had a Pina Colada and it was not good. If you are thirsty and standing out front, grab a beer but there are many better bars nearby.

Well ... the food is not bad. The price tag pretty good for what you get. But, when it comes to drinks, you pay as much as for your main course. On the other hand that you wonder how much rum they use for the mojitos, because you barely can find the door to get out ... LOL

I really liked the evening atmosphere - live music, salsa, not to clean but cozy. Drink mojitos, smoke inside and feel the Havana heat like in the 50's movie. The staff was quick and friendly. It is also good place to meet other tourists who are seeking for late evening entertainment and live music. We tried to eat picas and... More

We went in here for lunch and it was quite busy. The music at first was a bit in your face, but after a couple of mojitos its sounded great. We had a light lunch and enjoyed the afternoon a lot better after that

Passed this place a couple of times whilst on a guided tour and it seemed nice and lively, so popped in during some free time to listen to the band and get some food. Food was cheap and cheerful (ordered pizzas at 4 CUCs each) and the Pina Coladas were decent. The band playing were very good, and the staff... More

We visited Cafe de Paris with 6 friends.Sat down, ordered drinks. From then on there was always someone from the staff coming to check if our glasses are empty. At the end we were asked to leave because we didn't want to order more. What a terrible experience.

Food was OK, nothing to write home about, very good friendly service, cheap drinks and food. Great band, phenomenal sax player.

Cosy place, the food is ok and the drinks (mojitos etc.) blenede to perfection.Obviously a tourist place because of the location but when they play live bands the locals flock in. Worth trying.
