Quaint spot with good cafe and snacks

A nice place to take a break and have a snack. You can sit in the shade, under a fan, and people watch across the plaza. I personally didn't have any issues with the service; it didn't seem unorganized or slow, but that might be because we visited in June when there are less tourists.

a great find for good coffee. The aroma of freshly ground coffee flows out of the cafe. They make the best coffee in Havana.

Sadly this place has extremely rude and impatient staff - experienced on both the occasions I was there. My waitress completely disappeared, never to be seen again, and the water I was desperate for was not in sight 30 minutes later. I left. :-( Cannot recommend.

Had a coffee and a bit of lunch at this super little place just in the corner of the square, its a great place to sit and watch as people go by, the coffee is lovely and food great too, perfect for a quick refuel.

Sought out this venue after reading reviews from another guide. Great location on the corner of the charming Plaza. The staff are so busy, and sometimes appear to be a little unorganised, so you need to be proactive in waving 1 down for service. The coffee was nice, just what we needed, and they had an extensive selection of cakes... More

One of the best coffee in Havana, but the service is the slowest in town. The waiters are around and don't look after the clients, usually waiting for y coffee takes about 30 minutes

Best espresso in Havana, nice waitress, good pastry. Nice place to start your day with your daily shot of espresso.

Tired from walking around old Havana. Take a break here and have some incredible café negro and watch the world go by in Plaza Vieja. There is no better view than sitting outside here and watching the world go by and marvelling at the architecture in this square. They also sell freshly roasted beans or ground coffee. There was a... Five weeks after being here, I still think of it. The coffee is as good as it gets. Some of Cuba's best coffee beans are roasted and passed over to the retail desk & the barista. Coffee does not get fresher than that. The roast is dark but the bean stays dark amber brown. Really rich with colour. I bought... More

Really good cafe and excellent value for money. Good location in Plaza Vieja, good coffee (amongst the best we had in Cuba and certainly amongst the cheapest!) and a great place to hang out and watch the world go by.
