This was probably our worst meal in Cuba - poor service and tasteless food - however it was very cheap and the decor of the place is very cool and the music good - even if they came round of money after every song. It reminded me of all the meals I had in Cuba when I was here 15... More

We went there to have a short lunch while strolling through the city. We had the grilled chicken which was not expensive but not really grilled, rather cold and had a weird taste to it. The service was slow and not very helpful, we asked the waiter if it was necessary to order a side dish or not and he... More

This place is charming and offers fantastic live music. The service, however, is slow. Food is average Cuban fare. Nonetheless a decent bet for lunch.

We came here for a cheap bite to eat and a beer. Once we were seated it turned out they didn't have 90% of what was on the long menu, and when the food arrived it was on the bad side of average. Service was pretty bad and the music was live but not good, very slow and nowhere near... More

This is one of the restaurants in Havana that is still state run, and it shows. The food is very average but everything is ludicrously cheap (our total bill for the evening was 100 pesos for 10 people, for food and drink). Cocktails were only about 1.50 pesos - they were pretty average but you can't complain at that price.... More

The cocktails were the best we tried in Cuba and cost only 2cuc. There was also a band playing Cuban music and a couple dancing, lovely atmosphere. We didn't have a meal but food looked nice and very reasonable.

The food was nicely presented, came quickly and was quite good. I've eaten there several times for under $7CUC. Very reasonable prices. Quite often there is a live band playing and the music is great. I highly recommend this restaurant for the traveller on a budget! It's centrally located on the Obispo...

We visited this restaurant 3 years ago on a visit to Havana. We were so impressed then that we decided that we would go here again. We had a very nice meal and the entertainment whilst eating was good. There was a four piece band and two dancers. The old guy in the band we were told is 93. The... More

It is worth a visit for a number of reasons: it's very central in the main tourist street of Havana; it is very well decorated, bright and airy with comfortable seating (unlike a lot of venues which insist on having those cast-iron, bottom-aching chairs); it has a pair of dancers which change every couple of days who demonstrate various styles... We spent four days in Havana and ended up going to this restaurant twice. Prices are really cheap compared with other places and the food is very good. We had lobster tail for less than 10 USD (while in other places it was 30), drinks are about 1,5 to 2,5 USD. The service can get a bit slow during peak... More
