Situated upstairs in a building across the Paseo de Marti from the Capitolio, we climbed up a narrow curving stairway to find ourselves in a dark, rather cavelike space. The cuisine was Spanish, featuring many different dishes including tapas and mains and the prices were extremely reasonable and the portions very generous. I had the best octopus I have ever... More

It's what I call an "M.Night.Shyamalan" restaurant. Promising begining, great idea with, esthetically beautiful, but disapionting in the end. We were there twice in a week, both for late lunch. Location is perfect, right across the street from the capitol. They don't take reservations, even though they're usually lines at the door. But nothing excessive, especially if you're going to... Tired of the same "ham & cheese sandwich", to pay for the same food and get "amateur" service everywhere... We found "the paradise" eating on this excellent restaurant. Amazing variety of options in beef, seafood, chicken, fish even vegetarian food as well. Appetizers, main dishes & desserts brought to you by an kindly, professional and efficient service all of this... More

We went for dinner here in our first Havana night, but the queue was 30 minute long, so we abandoned ship and went to a local, horrific palador. We went instead for lunch the next day, and it was full. The drinks were good and the atmosphere was as well. The menu promised a lot, but the food was woeful.... More

We came here for lunch during our stay in Havana. It's quite a dark place inside. We had to wait 5min to be seated despite there being plenty of empty seats around. Once seated we were given bottled water each and they took our drinks order. Shortly after, we ordered the food (tamales soup and a paella to share). Both... More

we found this place as it was marked on the map given to us by the concierge from Melia Cohiba. We were not disappointed- what an amazing place! gorgeous food and big portions all for a very reasonable price! i would have returned here if it hadn't been our last night in havana!

It is not easy finding a great place to eat in Cuba, but Los Nardos was surely the exception. We were two families with 7 children traveling, and we all got a big table together. Four waiters were helping us out the whole night and made sure we had everything we needed. Strongly recommend this restaurant a visit if you... More

The food and drinks in this restaurant were great - big rum cocktails and big portions of delicious food is really all we want in a meal! However, the wait for this restaurant is the biggest problem (I guess it proves how popular it is with tourists and locals though!) - we tried to get in on our first night... More

We went there due to a friends recommendation. The night was just annoying as they tried to charge us for six bottles of water, we ordered just one. Further the 3 beers were mixed with a strange lime juice which ended on the bill as a cocktails. We only wanted BEERS and not that rubbish mix so even didn't drink... More

Though i'd recommend the place for dinner rather than lunch, for the restaurant is rather dark, its ambiance is lovely and the live music played there is tranquil meant for you to get closer to those around you at the table. They serve huge quantity of food & you will definitely take them home/hotel with you and all for a... More
