There are 3 restaurants and you will nearly always find a queue for the first and third floors. On the first floor it is more like a baronial hall with lots of dark wood, display cabinets with strange and interesting objects, candles and rather over-efficient air-conditioning. Food is excellent and portions copious. Service is friendly and professional but tends to... More

Los Nardo is located directly across the street from the front of the Capitolio and the first of 3 restaurants that end with one that has a patio on the roof viewing the Capitolio. The grilled fish and grilled pork chops were well-handled by the kitchen as they arrived cooked the way they should be but the star today was... More

The food is good and portions are huge! There is really no need for anything else than a main dish because if you do an appetizer than you are already full.... The restaurant is very very very popular and line if waiting people can be astonishing. Upon my first visit, I had the nicest waiter ever. On the second, the... More

Nardos is clearly very popular with Cubans, it was packed when we arrived for lunch. Bustling is how we would describe it. Lighting is low and romantic, service is efficiient if somewhat brusque but considering how packed it was then I guess it has to be, as the waiters are run off their feet. Prices are very reasonable We opted... More

Eating at this restaurant was a good experience. The food was really good and well prepare, the ambiance was perfect with live piano and clarinet music. All the waiters are your waiter and they have a very large menu with lots of options. I recommend Los Nardos coffee. The Spanish Paella was awesome and really good. They also have a... More

Average place with average food and prices above average for Cuban standards, difficult access through a too steep old stairs, the dinning area is too dark, the service is slow and the food is cold and nothing special.

One of our good friends took us there for lunch on two separate occasions. We had lunch at 2 of the 3 restaurants in this building. Each floor is run by a different brother is my understanding. The food is magnificent and the service is excellent (if you are rude and impatient you may not be treated as well as... More

My wife and I, upon recommendation from our travel guide, went to Los Nardos . Up the stairs into a dimly lit room, we waited a few minutes to be seated. We had a chance to peruse the menu despite the poor lighting and then the "sommelier" arrived . Having decided to have two cervezas to quench our thirst, we... More

Such an unassuming hidden jewel. After climbing a number of uncertain stairs ... The Los Nardos' interior opens up and reveals hand crafted old dark wood fit for that of a noble and an atmosphere of twinkling and sparkling lights hither and fro. It is indeed a lovely room quaint room. Waiters are beautifully dressed and quick to take charge.... More

I came here with friends for dinner during my recent trip to Havana, at first I was a bit reluctant waiting in line to enter the restaurant. However, once I went up the very steeped steps that led inside, I was glad I had stayed. Los Nardos is a little dark inside, but I think this works to its advantage,... More
