Good place with huge meals!

This is a great spot if you are coming or going from the Capitolio. It looks like an spanish cave, that can be a little claustrophobic and makes me wonder about if a fire happens. But, leaving this is a beautiful place with great service and huge, I really mean it, HUGE portions. If you are not... read more

This restaurant is located just across the road from the Capitolio building. It's up a couple of big flights of quite steep stairs which was slightly difficult getting up with a stroller, although the wait staff were great at helping us get up and down. The restaurant is large inside and very dark (even during the day), with candles on... More

We happened upon Los Nardos for lunch. Enormous amounts of food. Very reasonable prices. It's cool and dark inside. Everything was delicious. We went back for dinner.

Mostly traditional, hearty Spanish dishes and has a good selection of wines. It's on the second floor but there is no elevator. If you don't have reservations there is usually a long wait.

There was a queue for this restaurant every day we walked past it, but we'd been recommended it by a few people at our hotel so we decided to join the queue one day.... and we're so glad we did! The food was excellent, the service was great and the ambience was very welcoming but to top it all,the cost... More

We were recommended this restaurant by a local lady so we thought we will try it. However after waiting one hour in the queue outside we were really disappointed. In the restaurant was freezing cold and very dark, however this wasn't an issue. Service was extremely slow and at the time we thought it is because we are tourists and... More

This place was recommended by a local lady- while the restaurant is beautiful and romantic, they seemed to be understaffed when we were there and we had to ask several times for our water and wine to arrive. We eventually got our drinks just as we were finishing the starters (!). The food was fine, but all tasted a bit... More

The food here is great and it is not expensive at all. The service is excellent, everyone is very polite and quick. The overall atmosphere is very pleasant. We had to wait a little bit as it is often crowded and they invite us to sit on swinging chairs in the lobby which was nice. It's opposite the Capitolio so... More

You would easily miss this from the outside if it wasn't for the constant queue! It was well worth the wait. Once inside we climbed the stone stairs to the mahogany furnished restaurant. The waiting area had huge heavily carved seating as did the dining room. Silver trophies were displayed in class cabinets and colourful fish swam around in tanks.... More

We visited Los Nardos for dinner on our last night in Havana/Cuba. The restaurant was beautifully candle-lit and very atmospheric. You know a place is good when the Cubans themselves like to go here - our taxi driver on the way to the restaurant told us that it was one of his favourite places to eat. The portions are big...
