We took a recommendation from our travel rep, and popped along on our last night in Havana. Firstly, yes you have to queue. To be honest, we took that as a good thing as it clearly has a good reputation! Once inside (maybe a 30 minute wait in all), we were seated, and shown the menu. Our waiter was absolutely... More

I went with friends in December 2014 by recommendation of a travel guide. At the same place there are three restaurants from the same owner. Los Nardos is the fancier. It is located very close to Capitolio. We had to wait about 1 hour in line to get a table. The food was good, except for the lobster that was... More

Doesn't look like anything from the street, but walk up the stairs and wow! It's very dark and a bit crowded, but the service was amazing (Carlos, I think?) and the portions huge! My husband had the pork skewer and it was almost 2' long! The only issue was that the bathroom attendant was a bit grumpy, but who can... More

Los Nardos is just across from the Capital building. Look for the fancy waiter standing just out front. There is usually a line-up of people. We went there for lunch and were so impressed that we returned for dinner the same week. The fried chick peas was fabulous! Be aware, the portions at Los Nardos are HUGE. I personally think... More

Top service and really good food...huge portions. HIGHLY recommended for high quality Spanish food that hits the spot.

Not excited about this place because of unexpected charges and food quality. First of all, waiter brings water for every person without asking whether you want it or not. And this is not for free,as you can state it after. There was no fish when we visit this place,so we took meat for share for a main course. Portions are... More

Although we had to wait for 30 minutes to get in, it was definitely worth it! On a sunny day we got totally covered by the darkness of the Los Nardos restaurant. The candles make it look very romantic. They are offering so many options, that it is hard to pick which great dish you are going to get. I... More

You will have a long wait but it's worth it for the experience. The food is good, cheap and the experience is authentic. We met a beautiful Cuban couple in the line and the interaction with them as well as with others once in the restaurant was priceless. The portions are massive so err on the side of caution. With... Although this was my first visit to Los Nardos, the others in my party were looking forward to a repeat visit. We were prepared for the long hot wait to get inside the building and then to be seated. The wait would have been helped by serving us something to drink while we waited inside for our table. Two of... More

I got a personal recommendation for this restaurant, as well as it being well rated in a particular travel guide. You'll know it when you get there as there'll more than likely be a queue outside. There are 3 restaurants in this building so be sure to ask for Los Nardos, which is at the very top of the building.... More
