Los Nardos is one of the few restaurants in Havana that you have to queue to get into, and most guides tell you it is worth the wait, as the city is not really famous for a flourishing gourmet scene. Situated in a high yet surprisingly dark salon on the third floor on the Prado, Los Nardos has an air... More

Step out of the hustle and bustle of the Havana streets and up an unassuming staircase to Los Nardos and you will find one of the best places to eat in the city. Los Nardos has a varied menu and every dish I tried was full of flavour and quality produce and the portions are huge! The restaurant itself is... More

We ate here twice on our recent trip to Cuba and loved it both times. The food is fantastic, very fresh and well prepared. Portions are massive - each dish is really enough for at least 2 people. The service is great, waiters are all friendly, food comes quickly and everyone was very helpful. And they have the BEST mojitos... More

while we were in Cuba we had two dinners at Los Nardos. The service is good and the food, too! We had the chickpeas as a starter and it was really good. The beef was nice and the portions are big! Cocktails are really cheap. Be early, otherwise you will stand in line for 40+ minutes. Don't let them Send... More

This place was recommended as inexpensive, serving very good food. We were impressed with the service and the meal, which, as in many restaurants in Havana, give huge portions. They do provide take home boxes, which almost everyone walks out of the restaurant with in hand.

Great place just across the street (and upstairs) from the capitol building. We were there for lunch. Our group of a dozen or so was seated immediately. Food was good and abundant. Someone else paid for my meal so I'm not sure exactly what it cost.. It was a little dark and I had to use the tiny flashlight on... More

We were recommended this place to go by the locals as well as the tour guide as it would provide excellent value and great quality food. This I would say is an accurate description of what we did experience. The restaurant was dark and moody like a typical Spanish or Portuguese restaurant, which we loved. If you like authentic Cuban... More

We were recommended this restaurant more than once by locals who considered this ‘The Best Restaurant in Havana’. We decided to go around 5pm as no restaurant is worth queuing for 40 mins in the heat of a Havana afternoon. It took us around 20 mins to get in and a further 10 mins to be seated. On arrival we... Been at this restaurant a couple of times. Food is good, very large portions, dinning room is dark, with a lot of woodwork. We didn't like that they charge you for everything, at the beginning of the meal they offer you bread( in most restaurants in the world is complimentary), here they actually charge the bread depending on how many... I'm surprised this restaurant isn't ranked higher. We were recommended to come here by a casa owner who warned us about the massive portions - wow, was he right! My partner had a HUGE paella which was really tasty and I had a Uruguayan pork escalope - again, really nice. The service was good, the atmosphere was buzzy, the decor... More
