A great restaurant in the center of Havana right across the Capitol. Great ambiance and delicious food for a very nice price..

Los Nardos was one of the few lunch options in the area listed in our guidebook and we needed to escape from the pouring rain. The entrance was a little difficult to find and there was no queue. We carried our daughter plus pushchair up the steep steps to arrive in the rather dark interior. The food was acceptable and... More

Los Nardos is opposite the Capitolio, on the 1st floor of a typical Havana building. It is very dark inside with heavy, dark wood furniture but don't let that put you off. It was very busy when we went, with lots of Cuban families eating dinner. We had some (great!) beers, shredded beef stew - rioja - and a tomato-y... More

This Restaurant is situated in central Havana. There is a long queue to get in but its well worth the wait. The Food was fantastic and the portions were exceedingly good value for money. I recommend getting there early from around 6-630 to ensure you don't have to queue for too long. We Queued for a small group of 6... More

We chose Los Nardos having researched a number of guides and Trip Advisor recommendations. It is a restaurant operated by the Spanish Asturianas Society and is situated opposite the Capitolio. We were shown to the first floor restaurant which has an open kitchen to the front of the building as you enter. I would agree with other reviews about the... More

Restaurant was recommended to us and we had to queue therefore our expectations were raised. When we were shown to our table we were given bottles of water straight away without asking if I we wanted it. When I asked could we order bottles of local beer instead it came in a strange concoction of salt, sugar and cinnamon it... More

The setting of Los Nardos is really exciting, being hidden in a building across the capitolio. Reception when coming in was downright aweful. As a European we were not used to sitting down until someone approached us, so we just stood there and no one really welcomed of approached us. Made us feel a bit unwelcome. Food quality in general... More

Los Nardos is situated in the center of Havana, opposite the Capitol. Indeed you have to wait for like 10min-15min to get in because it's always crowded. We've eaten there twice during our visit in Cuba and the food was very good, especially the meat. The portions are big, even for European standards and the pricing more than logical. The... More

Up the stairs and through the glass door right across from the Capitol is one of Havana's first Paladar. The atmosphere is dark, even with the light of the kitchen shining across the dining room. The wood is rustic, and the wait staff very professional. LN has a good wine list, and the menu is extensive and reasonable. I had... More

Los Nardos is one of the few restaurants in Havana that you have to queue to get into, and most guides tell you it is worth the wait, as the city is not really famous for a flourishing gourmet scene. Situated in a high yet surprisingly dark salon on the third floor on the Prado, Los Nardos has an air... More
