Not sure what the people with the very high reviews had to eat, but this was one of the more dissapointing meals we had on Bonaire. I really had a hard time finding something on the menu that sounded good. I ended up with the fish of the day- Wahoo. It was good, but not great. I wouldn't avoid it,... More

A great restaurant with good service. Nice local and international dishes. Fresh fish and cosy atmosphere. Check the "bar hap" plate service for a great affordable meal or a more fancy dinner in the restaurant part.

A great dining gem in Bonaire. The food was very good and enjoyed the variety of European offerings on the menu. Service was great too.

Great food although a little pricey. I will definitely visit again on my next trip to Bonaire. Enjoyed the outdoor tables. No problems with bugs. Reservations are needed.

On main street, tables inside and next to sidewalk. Great fresh food and the cook will create a vegan dish with some advance notice. The fish is fresh and the staff and bartenders are great.

We have been coming to Bonaire for 14 years. We love Mona Lisa and eat here every year. Food is excellent, simple fish with saffron sauce, french fries or their gratin potatoes. Absolutely delicious and so, so fresh. Part of the charm is sitting at the bar and watching Hans work efficiently and quickly, fraternizing with the customers, serving all... More

This restaurant looks a little run down from the street during the day but it is hopping in the evening! We had carpaccio of fresh wahoo served with salad to start and the catch of the day for our main. With a few glasses of wine and dinner for 3, the bill was around $100 US - very reasonable and... This restaurant was one of our many choices during our honeymoon in Bonaire. While we enjoyed the meal and the cheesecake was AMAZING and fluffy, we were disappointed with the price point. The prices seemed high for what you were getting. The food was good, however the drink list was lacking as well as the prices were a bit steep... More

On the main street (Caya Grandi) about a block N of the tourist bureau. We heard good things about the Mona Lisa, and were not disappointed. We chose a table outside. The seafood was excellent (catch of the day was baked Rainbow Runner, with capers in a cream sauce). Our dishes were accompanied by mixed veggies over sauerkraut. The salad... More

We ate here one night in Feb 14. Pity we didn't book as we had to wait for a table (it's quite a popular venue) but the place has a nice pub-like bar and it was worth the wait. The food and service were good. My wife had the barracuda and I had the steak, both of which were fine.
