Taste vs Service

There's no questioning the quality and taste of the food here; it is delicious. The portions are decent by Bonaire standards, but like Bonaire standards for the nicer restaurants, on the small side. Great food - very well prepared and seasoned. Attention from the Chef was the best part. He came out - saw that I only ate about a third (that's all I ever eat) and was honestly concerned that it was the food. I explained but his honest concern was refreshing.

My husband & I dined here on a recent trip to Bonaire. The staff at Bellafonte Hotel recommended this restaurant to us on one of the evenings. We were seated in a beautiful courtyard were the evening just felt magical. The food was delicious, just caught that afternoon & the service was perfect.

Not long after walking into Wil's, we were warmly greeted by Wil himself before we took our seats in the beautifully lit courtyard. The atmosphere is simple, peaceful, and lovely. My husband and I ate the bleu cheese and artichoke dip for appetizer and it was delicious. We both had the grilled Mahi Mahi on a bed of mix greens,... More

Lovely restaurant operated by Dutch-American couple in the center of town. Cozy intimate ambiance, menu changes daily. Not open on Sat. or Sun.

If you walked by Wil's you wouldn't guess it, but this place is great! Most of the dining is open air under a canopy of trees and tea lights. The service was great and the food was definitely better than many of the fancy restaurants on Bonaire. I'm very happy we stumbled upon this little spot!

we had the best meal while we were on the island at Will's. This was my fifth trip to Bonaire, and we had not tried Will's until this trip. It will be at the top of my list on the next trip. The fish, beef and drinks were fantastic and well worth the price.

the title says it all. the food is nothing to rave about. ordered a few appetizers one main course and there was just nothing to write home about. the owners are nice. but the major problem is mosquitos. they have the mosquito coils burning, but the smell from the coils interferes with the enjoyment of the food.

We stopped in for dinner and had some great fresh food. We had dumplings as an appetizer- probably our favourite dish of the night. For mains we had fish and pork. Both were very nice. We had two great desserts as well. The atmosphere is laid back and the staff for helpful.

We discovered Wil's on our first trip to Bonaire in 2012 and ended up eating there twice because we enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much. The fried barracuda which had just been delivered by the fisherman 30 minutes before we arrived was amazing! Wil's was our first stop for dinner on the day we arrived and he didn't disappoint!...
