Excellent Milkshakes and the squash soup is amazing

Normen and his wife took care of us. His home made squash soup is very good and they spin a mean milkshake. Great post dive spot. Also Normen is great, a very nice man and extremely hospitable

The empanadas which he calls pastries are delicious. We had cheese, meat and chicken. They were all delicious, tasted fresh and were well seasoned. The empanadas were priced appropriately at $3 but the milkshakes were disproportionate at $5 for a small glass (200ml). Always ask the price before ordering from places which don't display menu as they tend to overprice... More

This is THE place you have to stop in Rincon. Norman will offer you a snack, or BETTER, his excellent vegetable soup ! A reference. Try also some Bonairian Spice cake, it's worth the route to Rincon !

12 years ago Norman the owner, 'fed' me and my ex--girlfriend with pumpkin-soup in his kitchen; we were hydrating after a long hike with lack of water. with the family and no charges. then we ordered his homemade milkshake. this milkshake is 'the best milkshake in the caribbean' - it says in a dutch book about Bonaire. A few days... More

Norman is a great host for a bite and drink after a dive. Try his squash soup, I promise you've never had anything better.

We ate there twice. Try owner Norman's excellent squash soup if it's available. The Pastechis (kind of like empanadas) are a treat - all the flavors are good. The homemade milkshakes are also excellent. Norman is full of interesting stories about Bonairean politics and intrigue.

This is a small sit down/fast food cafe. Norman's food is very good and he specializes in pestichi's which are similar to Mexican empanada's or Welsh pasti's. The pestichi's are meat filled and crispy on the outside. Just delicious. His milkshakes are the real deal. Homemade and taste like real ice cream. We tried the banana and pistachio milkshake. Yummy.... More

On my most recent trip, as always, I had to stop in for some squash soup and ice cream and a chat with Norman! This is a must place to visit if you are in Bonaire. Norman is wonderful and the food is that kind of "local good" that can be hard to find.
