We had dinner at It Rains Fishes last night and walked out with huge smiles on our faces and very satisfied appetites. We experienced a very warm greeting at the open-air restaurant and were placed as requested at an oceanfront table. The view is of Bonaire's harbor facing west so a gorgeous sunset... read more

We eat here on our last night every trip (5 and counting). We reserve an ocean front table and have never been disappointed.

A beautiful open air restaurant in town looking out across the small street and sidewalk to the sparkling azure water with picturesque sail boats. Great fresh fish. Not one bad meal there. I think it's the cleanest and classiest restaurant on the island, and while other restaurants always seemed to have mosquitoes under the tables to bite you, this one... More

We ate here one night and they were out of tuna. Everyone ordered the catch of the day duo of mahi mahi and dorado with creole sauce. The sauce was recommended by our waitress and was excellent. My kids even liked it. The server took our name and where we were staying. The following day, we got a note at... More

I was hoping for more choices of local fresh catch fish. We ended up ordering steak! The mojitos were very good.

I went here on the advice of trusted friends, but perhaps the management or chef has changed since they were there last year. We had a table of 7, and not one of was impressed with what they ordered. Fish seemed dry and a bit bland, even with the various sauces. The concensus was that we'd rather go to serveral... More

This place was reommended by trusted friends, so maybe something has changed here. The food was really not acceptable for the price, but the service and ambiance were pleasant enough.

We arrived, without reservations, but were seated easily. The selection of fish was diverse. They have a fish market onsite for buying fish off hours.

We had dinner here, as the name of the restaurant suggested that it was a seafood-specialty place. The attitude of being "the place-to-be" was not totally justified. The starters were cooked too long, the soup was missing the fresh taste. Main course: dry fish; tasteless vegetables, overcooked. Maybe because the clientele is at age; and they believe these older people... More
