Good Food, Nice Atmosphere

It Rains Fishes was a restaurant I very much looked forward to visiting on Bonaire. It has a really nice outdoor dining area that looks out to the sea. The service was slow but friendly and the food was pretty good. As with most restaurants on Bonaire, it is very overpriced. I'm glad I tried it... read more

Good location but the food is nothing to write home about. The menu is very basic and the food was not as good as people told us. All in all a little bit dissapointed but still a good place

Goat salad and pumpkin soup were tasty and a good value. The seafood pasta was okay and very expensive.

We wanted some local fresh fish so we decided to try It Rains Fishes, located in Kralendijk, right on the water. It’s a nice-looking place with indoor and outdoor seating. I left feeling disappointed, but it wasn’t the fault of the staff. The food was good and artfully presented. Our waiters were friendly, and despite the place being packed, we... More

This is a regular last stop in our annual visit to Bonaire, ending here as a large group that seems to take up half the restaurant on arrival and our reservations seem to always be welcomed. As a group of 16, our waitress remembered us from last year and gave us the up most responses to our requests including splitting... More

This restaurant has been around for a long time and with good reason. The tables are comfortable and they have a lovely spot overlooking the small harbor. Drinks are great and the food is wonderful. the shrimp croquet is my favorite appetizer. You cannot go wring with the fresh fish and the garlic shrimp is also wonderful. you will need... More

Our last night on Bonaire and we had a wonderful dinner at 'It Rains Fishes'. I had made a reservation for six at 7:00, we were seated upon our arrival Our server (Arlanis) was great, our group can get a little rowdy - but she was a real trooper and kept up with all of the 'special' requests. The appetizers... More

Kind of a last night tradition for our annual dive trip. Food is great and plenty. Nice being open to ocean on one side. Looking forward to next year

We went here twice. Once on a week night and the other time Saturday night. On the week night the food and the service were pretty good. Saturday night was a totally different experience. I am guessing they just could not handle the crowd. The service was terribly slow and the food was bad. And unfortunately bad experiences count more... More

This is my favorite restaurant on Bonaire. I always look forward to it on the last night of our week in Bonaire each year. My dive buddies are always delighted to indulge me here :)
