Great location and good food. Overall was a good experience but we were underwhelmed compared to a few other places on Bonaire. Our experience with the service was that it wasnt as friendly as other restaurants. Lets just say that being an Italian restaurant on...Bonaire, it appeared to attract a different crowd than other places. Also they didnt have a "catch of the day" (Which is on the menu). Never experienced that on Bonaire before, pretty strange for a restaurant that close to the water to not have any fresh seafood offerings.More

This restaurant is amazing! Our servers, Larissa and Monique, were fabulous - very attentive and aware, able to give great recommendations and helpful throughout and did not rush us. The fresh bread and dips to start were sooo good as was the amuse bouche salad....My husband started with the meatballs and I had the caprese salad - both were stellar. For our mains, my husband had the tuna special (seared to perfection). My pasta was straight up the best pasta dish I’ve ever had. We were too full for dessert, so we had the chocolate truffles “to go” - and am I glad we did! All this, plus drinks for $100 - we felt it was very reasonable and was a restaurant we will definitely return to in future.More

Best restaurant we've eaten at on the island. Very knowledgeable and careful for our allergen issues (highly dairy and gluten intolerant) with the best tasting and textured gluten free pasta I've had anywhere - all over the U.S. and in the parts of Europe that...I've visited. Just amazing food and a wonderful experience. Couldn't recommend more highly!More

Absolutely the best restaurant on the island. Wonderful staff welcomed us and were very attentive, always ready to clear an empty plate and replace flatware with each course. We are so impressed with the amazing wine list and authentic Italian cuisine! So generous with complimentary...bread and salad before the meal and large portions, definitely not something you will get everywhere. Really appreciate the help selecting the perfect wine to accompany our meal. The wine list is very extensive and so reasonably priced. Our favorites were the house made foccacia, Amatriciana and carbonara. Tiramisu was easily the best we have ever had. Hats off to the staff at Capriccio for the memorable evening. We will be back!More

We showed them their own confirmation on...email and still didn’t accommodate us even though they had empty tables They were not nice and we felt really mistreated I will tell all my groups not to go there again I bring groups every year from 40 to 80 people Sorry but you will miss our couples from our groupsMore

Not sure why there are so many lukewarm reviews. We dined around 8pm - maybe there is an insane rush earlier at 7pm and service is slow? We felt the service was very good. The chef himself came out to talk to several tables and...ended up talking to us about wine and Italy for at least 10 minutes. They have an extensive and impressive wine list that is not insanely overpriced like many other restaurants (for example others charge 90 dollars for a 12 dollar bottle). Pizza was thin crust and good. They serve complimentary bread at the beginning - a focaccia, and some sort of soft bread with pesto in it - this was absolutely delicious. A small bite size starter salad is included as well. We had two cappuccinos after dinner - word to the wise, these are VERY strong! Overall this was a very pleasant experience and we will return if we come back to the island.More

The food was good but the service was awful. Our group order appetizers, wine and our meal. We waited over an hour on our appetizers. Then we waited a hour and a half on our meal. When we asked if there was an issue with...our meal, the waitress said there was an issue but would not tell us what the issue was. The manager checked on all the tables around us but never came to our table. Very tacky and rude, she was well aware that there was something going on with our meal but refused to acknowledge us. Our whole group was nothing but nice to everyone there. We will never go back!More

Worst service and attitude I have ever experienced on Bonaire. We were the 1st group of six to be seated for the night. No greeting as we passed the manager and 3 other servers as we walked in. This seemed to set the scene for...the evening. We order apps, main coarse and wine about 10 minutes after being seated. After over one and a half hours had passed we asked if they knew why our meal was delayed, while everyone around us was being served the same dishes we ordered. They said they did but never explained. We waited another 40 min. before receiving our meal. Desert was served the same way as well as getting our bill. It is a shame, because the food was very good. We enjoy making meals an event while traveling, but this 3+ hour experience was a bit much, especially after bringing this to their attention and still no explanation or apology was provided by anyone. In fact, we waited so long for our bill that we wound up standing at our table as we waited. We were in the middle of the restaurant and were impossible to miss by our server and certainly the manager. Still no reason nor apology. Won’t be back no matter how good the food was. We were very friendly, but got the distinct feeling, they don’t like Americans.More

All the tables around us were served promptly. Our entrees took over an hour. The owner talked to all the tables around us - but ignored us. We have visited Bonaire once or twice a year since 1996 - and have frequented this restaurant many...times throughout the years. My pasta was cold…we won’t be returning.More

Called multiple restaurants for a 9pm reservation, Capriccios was the only one to accept us. The food was amazing, but the service even better, Larissa took great care of us. It takes good food to enjoy a restaurant, but it takes a great waitress to...return. Thank you!More

We have been dining at Capriccio for over 10 years every time we visit Bonaire for diving. This evening the food and service was exceptional until the end of the meal. The Chef came out of the kitchen to the Dining Room and circulated among...the tables. He visited tables all around us and directly adjacent to 3 tables next to us, but bypassed us. I have never been this disrespected in any dining experience anywhere. We have met the owners in the past and they have always been very hospitable and gracious. Something has changed at Capriccio and it no longer has the charm or class as displayed in the past. Sad!More

In my mind the most overrated restaurant in Bonaire. For some reason it gets many rave reviews. My guess is that many diners don't know good Italian food when they taste it. I was born and raised in a city in the the northeastern US...with a large Italian population and multiple Italian restaurants. I know good and great Italian food. Capriccio does not cut it. Is it awful? No, not awful, but just plain average. Service tends to be slow, but they blame that on the on the premises making of the pasta. Not worth the prices charged and just not special, unless you don't know great Italian food. I guess beggars can't be choosers.More

This restaurant serves excellent Italian food. I particularly liked the pasta special which featured vegetables and shrimp over spaghetti with a nice olive oil sauce. There are good views of the water from both the inside and outside tables. The service was efficient. Reservations recommended...as this is a popular place.More

Walk up to the window on the outside and place a pick-up order for a pizza. Takes about 20 minutes if you do it when they open. Excellent. And this is an hour and a half less then sitting down from what I've read.
