Amazing. Walked in off the beach, seated straight away. Food was amazing. (If hungry get a stater though, portions slightly small) service was great, very polite and funny waiter. Cocktails were lovely, as was bottle of plum sake. Chicken, pork, and beef (as well as veg options) if you don't want sushi. Lovely atmosphere. Book in advance if you want... More

As we had apparently travelled a long distance (only half an hour!) we were given one of several tables next to the sea. The scenery was beautiful, which matched the food. To start, we had a Maki roll and a Tempura. Both were delicious and for main we shared one jerk mahi-mahi (lacked the jerk sauce but still tasted amazing)... More

We had a great meal at Naru! We were dying for some sushi as Vancouver has the best and we were pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. Prices were expensive but being in Barbados, who cares. The Sushi rolls were big and my husband loved his bento box! I am Japanese and make my own sushi. This place gets my thumbs... More

The courteous reception at the door was definitely a good sign and it just got better and better. The menu was an exciting fusion of Japanese-Bajan cuisine guaranteed to make your mouth water. Service was excellent, choices superb and prices within reason. Then there is the view -you are seaside, right on the beach. knowledgeable

This is my 3 times this year,,,,we are seating in the second row waiting for the main course when this massive Turtle comes to the shore and just wondering if booking required;) As everyone stand up to look and picture every where the turtle... Its going to take a long time searching to find sushi as great as this anywhere else. Fabulous food, sushi with a local carribean twist. We loved it so much we went twice, the menu options are quite different, great mixing of textures and flavours. Since we got home we haven't found anywhere else that comes up to scratch.

The setting, service, wine and food were all amazing. Try to get a sea front table if possible. Thanks to all the staff we met and for the acknowledgment of our wedding anniversary which was really appreciated. We tried the sushi and some of the pan Asian dishes, all were excellent.

We didn't find this restaurant until the end of our trip but it was definitely the best place. The sushi was fresh and wonderful. We had the fresh catch entree and it too was amazing. The location is right on the boardwalk and the ocean. Definitely not to be missed.

The Naru is a beautiful restaurant that opens up to a wonderful view of the beach, and sunset (if you're there at the right time of day!). Out of all the dining experiences in Barbados, and their were a lot, both my girlfriend hold Naru among our top picks, if not thee top pick. Our dinners there were second to... More
