Good game

Bert’s bar was also an establishment that we went to once for an Ottawa Senators game. I of course being all dressed up in my Sens gear when they hammered Edmonton 7-2 (Bert’s Bar jinx is over). Their Happy Hour is from 4:30-6pm.

Great pizza. Even better mahi mahi. Food was great. Good staff very helpful. Good atmosphere and bar with many tv's and sports. Will come back anytime I'm in the area. I don't know how the negative reviews had a bad experience.

A Sports Bar two minutes from our hotel. We went on our first night. Absolutely dreadful. I hated the place. It appeared to have delusions of grandeur (as did the staff). Average service, almost average food, limited menu and VERY expensive prices. The most expensive bottle of Banks we found during our holiday including our hotel. They show a lot... More

Had seen ads in many of the travel magazines, and since it was a short walk from where we were staying, we thought we would give it a try. There were only three other tables occupied, but was disappointed at the time it took for the waitress to bring us our drink order and to take our food order. She... More

We visited Berts 2 days ago. We ordered fish cakes to start and pizza for mains. The fish cakes had a thick batter and very little fish they were heavy and tasteless and resembled fried large lumps of dough. The pizza was edible even if the fish cakes were not however again the pizza lacked flavour was thin and chewy... More

Stop in Bert's for lunch. A must stop for hockey fans. The food was good we had the Double Flying Fich Cutter and Bert's Burger both were good but on a hot day you need a Daiquiri both the Pineapple and Banan were amazing.

Have to start off with the fishcakes, they truly are amazing and I get them every time I go in here. The sauce that comes with it is so good I guarantee you will get hooked on it once you have tried it. Drinks here are slightly more expensive than some places, but in general very good value and the... More

Popped into Berts for an evening meal. Good quick service and v.friendly. Pizza was superb (stone pizza oven). Walked past the owner and thanked him. He thanked us and wished us a nice evening. Our first time to Berts and will return.

We are from Ottawa, home of the Senators. We were excited to visit. Not much happening. Would save the cab fare next time.
