We had the fixed price 3 course lunch which cost around £29 per head . Not cheap but this is a really good restaurant in a lovely location . It was comfortable with excellent service and the food was very good .

We were seated promptly at a oceanfront table, which was ver dramatic with the waves crashing right below us. We ordered a bottle of wine and our meal pretty quickly which I think gave the waitress the impression that we were in a hurry so our first course came out very quickly. We let it be known that we were... More

We spend over $1000 USD for 5 with 2 average bottles of wine. Fantastic view and the food was good but not over the top and not worth the $erious money we spent I guess a mango some shrimp salad in bgi is worth $40 bbd or $20 usd really?

Our one special, expensive, fine-dining restaurant during our week stay was at Champers. We are happy we made that one our choice. We are staying on the south side and it was not far. We had reserved a rail table which they had ready for us at 6pm, at sunset. The service was excellent. We started with bread and the... More

We attempted to make a reservation, first via Champers' website submission form and then by telephone, leaving a detailed message as instructed with our local and mobile numbers. Presumably the date we were interested in was unavailable but we were to be staying in Barbados for three weeks, and beyond that we will return in the future. It seems impolite... More

Champers, this restaurant speaks for it's self, while in Barbados you must make sure this is on your to do and go list , miss it and you will regret it. This is a very popular restaurant so making reservations is a must, give yourself alternative dates and times then you will not be disappointed. Freshly cooked food , along... More

We had an ocean-front pre-sunset dinner on the night of a half moon. As the sun went down the awnings were off and the Moon was high overhead, with the planet Venus not far off. The sunset was followed by a glorious pink sky and spray from the incoming tide splashed against the glass half barrier next to our table.... More

a must! We went for dinner over the winter holidays - staff was wonderful, ambience was on point, and the meal was exquisite. Much attention to detail, an awesome bread basket (we were going through bread withdrawn on the island), and little holiday gifts, including the typical sorrel holiday drink and decorations. A wonderful experience all around and worth every... More

I wonder if one day in my life, I would walk into a restaurant in the Caribeans and the food would leave a different taste in my mouth. Maybe something different than what I would get in a normal restaurant when I travel to North America. Maybe one day, I order a plate of fish and it would be actually... More
