We ate at The Mews twice having been recommended it by our hosts. Our first visit was fabulous - really enjoyed new local bistro menu and the service was excellent, however, the on second visit I don't think the manager was there as service wasn't nearly as good, however the food was still lovely. If there are only two of... More

This restaurant is not on the beach front but it has a great position in Holetown and is well worth a visit. The menu is not fussy and the food is excellent. It is excellently cooked, very well presented and comes at a reasonable cost. The service is excellent, efficient, polite and friendly. The upstairs is light and airy and... More

We visited in June 2014 after having eaten at The Cliff and Blue Bajan at Sandy Lane. This restaurant is a true gem with great food at reasonable prices, good cocktails and friendly staff. A little piece of true Bajan architecture and a delightful evening was had. Will return on our next visit to Barbados

This is a good restaurant in the centre of holetown. It's not in the same league as Cliff or Tides restaurant (but then it is less expensive), but it is still very good with friendly service and attractive setting upstairs. We really enjoyed the food.

The upstairs restaurant is airy and relaxing. The quality and presentation of the food cannot be faulted. An ideal place for a special occasion.

We had a nice meal here seated on the little balcony overlooking the street. The restaurant is on the first floor above the bar. It was busy and lively atmosphere. Good service and very friendly staff and good value for the quality of the food.

Food was reasonable, though not wonderful. Competently done, but the menu failed to inspire. That said, you come to The Mews for more simple fare. And the price was right. And the service was friendly and unobtrusive. Getting a balcony seat was a coup, allowing us to soak up the ambience of one of Holetown's more characterful streets. The Mews... More

We chose The Mews while walking around and had dinner there. The service was very efficient but not overly friendly and the decor was quite subdued...a lot of white! There was a small private room for perhaps 10 which was lovely. There is also a small balcony with a few tables for two which I would reserve if going back.... More

My husband and I went dinner here last night to celebrate our older son's high school graduation. They have created a new bistro menu from which my husband ordered fish and chips in beer batter but the chips were made from cassava and sweet potatoes a pleasant surprise. He then had a homemade style seasoned burger with French fries. He... More

After all the so called a la carte resturants on the west coast of barbados, it was great to have some very well cooked local plain food from this lovely local resturant/bar good service, and how a local place should be bets meal I have had on this trip
