This little place is very sweet - its a take-away but you can eat outside. very different ( they also cater for gluten free and other diets)
For lunch I had the Italian ham and brie baguette and my husband had the seafood wrap (crab and avocado). Both were very good and reasonably priced, but the best part was sitting in the back patio beside Par-le-Ville Park. It's shady and breezy and a totally relaxing way to spend lunch time.
We had lunch The Lemon Tree Cafe Friday. The food was fresh and delicous. We ate outside and enjoyed the view. My husband and I each had one of the daily specials which came with vegetables, sweet potatoes or a salad. The kids had sandwhiches and they enjoyed them. The prices were good for the area.
We frist saw the Lemon Tree walking down the street. We laughed because they had a sign outside that they have office birthday cocktail hours (well, yes, please!).
It didn't really look like a place with much food options from the outside, so we never really considered it...until our last day. We were looking for a quick snack / sandwich...

My Caesar salad was pretty poor and the patio garden was a mess, dirty and untidy with various bowls and containers of goodness knows what on some surface that I had no clue as to what it's purpose was. While shopping I always visit the Lemon Tree of a quick cool down drink and a nibble. It is just the best "picker upper" after a day of shopping.
Seriously -- "a little treasure"? a "hidden gem"? Hardly!
This morning I was handed a plate of cold (mediocre and hours past its prime) frittata and cold bacon. The guy behind the counter seemed surprised when I asked for it to be heated. That plus a small latte was $13.
