I've been going there for years (actually since it was first opened as "Primavera") and loved the food and wine. I did have a taxi driver tell me that he's moved but if that's correct I have no idea where he's now located or what name he's operating under.

I just signed up here, and since I've finally decided to start writing reviews after lurking for a few years, I wanted to be sure to write a good review for the Flying Fish restaurant. Sadly, it seems I'm a bit late since these guys have closed. But just in case they are reading this, I wanted to write that... More

It was my favorite place and the people were really friends. I was broken hearted to tell the Flying Fish and her amazing staff goodbye. She is out of business for ever. Very sad to lose such a wonderful place, especially for us business travelers who enjoyed the familiarity of James, Claudia & Harni, who always welcomed everyone with open... More

One of the nicest restaurants I have eaten in in Bermuda. Their small staff and manager, James and very welcoming when you enter the restaurant. If you love sushi, you have to try this place. They also have other nice meals on the menu if you aren't a fish eater. I normally order the sushi or fish meals. I understand... More

We arrived right at the time the restaurant opened with only a few people ahead of us. We didn't have reservations but we were seated with no problems. We ordered the fish chowder and calamari for our starters.. Both very good. Chowder a little spicy but that's how true Bermuda Chowder is served. Wait staff were good, very nicely done... More

We ate at the Flying Fish restaurant on 26 September, on a very wet and windy evening. Obviously this had quite a considerable effect on the number of people eating there (a total of 4 apart from my husband and me). As a result, the staff were over-keen to attend to us, which made for a slightly uncomfortable experience. But,... More

This restaurant was pretty average. The food was fine. The service was very good, prompt and friendly. The location near our hotel was prime so can't complain. It was pretty packed so is definitely a popular choice.

There are a lot of options for eating in Hamilton, this place has the advantage of being almost directly across from the Hamilton Princess. If it's raining out this might be a good option. If not, I'd head into town for much better, more interesting and doubtless less expensive fare. Flying Fish has nothing memorable about it, the food is... More
